Letter from the Contractor Academy Board of Directors:
As a new informational tool for our members, we are excited to introduce the 2016 Contractor Academy
Training Catalog. Provided within the catalog is a list of classes and training sessions with detailed
course descriptions, all taught by industry leaders.
Since the inception of the Contractor Academy, our goal has been to provide training and education to
small businesses and their employees with the high quality and applicability to market trends that large
businesses can provide.
Also for this year, we are pleased to offer tailored certification programs with one-on-one opportunities
for small businesses and their employees. The five certification programs, designed by skilled and
experienced industry professionals, are centered upon construction best practices and employee
development. The workshops are also great networking opportunities – so bring your business cards!
It is going to be an exciting year for Contractor Academy. Along with the new course catalog and
certification programs, we will look to hire a part-time coordinator. We strive to support small business
with high quality training programs, workforce development and personnel recruitment.
Don’t miss out on these great opportunities to develop your business and employees! We look forward
to seeing you at a class or workshop, as well as the monthly dinner meetings.
