A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
Welcome to the 68th Annual Scientific Assembly! The
wide range of CME topics reflects the outstanding efforts
of the Education Commission. This meeting promises
to deliver high-quality, up-to-date continuing medical
education we can all use.
You will receive current information on a variety of
medical topics pertinent to patient care in a Family Medicine setting.
Subject material was chosen based on assessed needs, relevance
to quality patient care, and input from membership. The Education
Commission has devoted extra effort this year to delivering high quality
speakers. You will receive important information at the meeting for future
reference. This meeting also provides a great opportunity to interact
professionally and socially with physicians and their families from medical
students and residents to life members.
We will have the Family Fun Fiesta on Friday evening. On Saturday
evening, you will have an opportunity to visit with “The Future of Family
Medicine” at the reception followed by the President’s Installation Dinner
where the 2016 Missouri Family Physician of the Year will be revealed and
other awards presented.
Plan to join us for a great Scientific Assembly!
Peter Koopman, MD, FAAFP
