Preferred Seating tickets will be sold for a 3 Day period prior to the Public
Onsale Date. Preferred Seating tickets will still go on sale at Midnight
CST. For example, if the public onsale date is Saturday, October 27. The
Preferred Seating ticket sale will start at midnight, Wednesday October
24th and end at 11:59 p.m. Friday, October 26th.

dressing
4 c crumbled cornbread
1 ½ c crumbled cooked biscuits or white bread
1 medium onion, chopped
2 eggs, beaten
1 quart chicken broth
1 stick margarine, melted
Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 450°. Mix all ingredients
thoroughly until mixture is thin enough to pour
into a 9 x 13 baking dish. Bake approximately 40
minutes, until golden brown.

ALAN JACKSON CHANGED MY LIFE IN ONE NIGHT!
I was named after the song “Dallas.” I grew up on his music and my dad knew all of his songs on the
pedal steel guitar. My mom and dad both knew of Alan Jackson before Here in The Real World and I
have waited my entire life to meet him. He is by far my favorite country star and a personal idol. His
songs really affect me in so many ways—from feelings of nostalgia, hope or pure joy, Alan Jackson’s
music will forever be near and dear to my heart.
When I found out about the fan club meet and greets I IMMEDIATELY became a member. However,
I never thought I would actually win! Then I got the email. I was completely beyond myself. I still
can’t believe that I met the person I would meet out of anyone in the world. THIS MOMENT WAS THE
BEGINNING OF THE BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE!
This was around my 20th birthday so my mother bought me the tickets to Stockton. Since she
named me Dallas, it meant so much to have her there. Then the time came to go meet him and I was
shaking. I started walking over. I was in shock and when the time came I went up and told him how I
was named after his song, as he replied “I love that song!” He signed some CDs I brought along for my
parents and a Don’t Rock the Jukebox CD that my mom bought when I was born for my baby book. I
finally got it signed!! Also, it was a great thing to confirm how great a person he is after looking up to
him all these years.
I held back the tears as I left but the moment I saw my mom I started balling. I couldn’t stop until
the music started. I walked down and told the security my story and how much it would mean to me
to get to the front. These extremely nice people let me downstairs to get FRONT ROW CENTER!!! He
even came by and shook my hand!
Half way through the set he sat down to do a few songs. He started, “…so I met this girl backstage
today and she was named after this song.” My hands clung to my face. “I don’t usually play this song
but, Dallas, wherever you are out there, this ones for you.” he said as he proceeded to play the song I
was named after! I was jumping up and down yelling “ME, ME, RIGHT HERE!!!”
This night was possibly the greatest night of my life. Little does Alan Jackson realize that that
moment changed my life forever. It is a story I will tell to my children, and my children’s children. Plus
it made my mom’s life in that moment as well. Alan Jackson will always be my idol and a truly special
person in my heart.

Happy Fall! Hope this newsletter finds you enjoying the fall and getting ready for the holidays! I can’t
believe we only have two more months left in 2012!
I’m so excited about the new things we have coming up for 2013! We have our new Mobile Roadie
App for your smartphone and upgrading our Preferred Seating tickets so you can buy them before
they even go onsale to the general public! Best of all the road crew is working on a lot of great stage
changes for the shows next year. I’m so excited to see it myself!
Another big change beginning in 2013 will be the way we distribute our newsletters. Instead of
having to wait for it to arrive by mail, you’ll have access to it as soon as we are done putting it together.
With print time and mail time, that will be at least four weeks earlier than in the past! We are getting
