Danvid 180 Series and 185 Series Windows are engineered with state-of-the-art glass technology to give you energy
saving thermal efficiency. It all starts with premium insulated glass, two sturdy panes separated by an optimal air
space to create a 3/4" wide, energy efficient thermal barrier.
Warm-Edge Insulating Glass Sealant System
Between the panes of our double-glazed, insulated glass is a high-performance sealant system engineered to increase
the edge of glass temperature as much as 10% over U-Channel roll-formed metal spacer systems. This additional
warmth dramatically reduces condensation. The system also saves energy by insulating the frame edge of the glass
50% better than U-Channel roll formed metal spacer systems and 90% better than aluminum spacer bar systems.
The result is far less thermal conductivity that helps keep cold air out and warm air in.

as an optional feature.
Low-E Glass Technology
Low-E Glass is coated with a virtually invisible layer of silver that
reflects radiant solar energy while permitting visible light to pass
through the glass.
In cold, winter climates, the Low-E Glass helps keep rooms
warmer by reflecting heat back into the home while letting warm,
solar rays in. In hot, summer temperatures, the Low-E Glass lets
visible light pass while blocking infrared and ultraviolet radiant
solar energy. So your rooms stay cooler and you save on precious
energy costs.
