he Gestetner F104 laser plain paper fax combines the benefits of Internet faxing and
printing at 15 pages per minute. Using Internet technology to increase communication
options, it gives major organisations fast and effective international faxing with
minimum cost. Together with scan to email, the F104 brings not only the benefits of
Internet faxing but also market leading IP faxing to all users; maximising cost
effectiveness for all of your organisation’s document based communications.
As well as its remarkable fax ability, the F104 raises the standard for today’s machines
with its 7MB memory and 350 sheet paper tray as standard. In addition, its integrated
QWERTY keypad and innovative software, for online monitoring and management of all
of its functions, deliver enviable convenience and productivity.

SCAN TO EMAIL
BUILT-IN LAN-FAX DRIVER
Simply selecting the F104’s ‘scan to email’
key enables users connected via the network
option to send colour and black and white
documents as image attachments. The F104’s
integrated scanner captures images at high
resolution in colour or mono for emailing in a
choice of formats (TIFF-F, JPEG or PDF),
providing clear and highly legible documents
for greater online flexibility. Plus, the
integrated QWERTY keypad makes it easy for
users to input email addresses directly from
the fax machine, further enhancing
productivity.
The built-in LAN-Fax driver improves
productivity and efficiency, as it enables
users to fax documents, created in any
standard application, directly from the
desktop. This easy to use feature means
there is no longer a need to print the
document first and take it to the local fax
machine for transmission, giving the F104
another powerful communication option.
INTERNET/NETWORK FAXING
With the Network option, the F104 brings all
the speed and cost saving benefits of the
Internet to faxing, both locally and across the
globe. As well as the convenience of Internet
faxing direct to recipients’ email addresses
via a mail server, the F104 also adds
IP-Faxing. By entering IP addresses instead of
fax numbers, users can communicate directly
with any other IP enabled fax on your
network, eliminating inter-company call
charges, especially in international business
communications.
HIGH QUALITY DUPLEX PRINTING AS
STANDARD
The F104 is one of the first faxes in the world
to be configured with duplex output as
standard, enabling all users to copy, print and
receive faxes as double-sided documents.
With the network printing option, the F104
offers large workgroups an impressive
15 pages per minute printing at up to
600dpi, providing a realistic back-up device
for your everyday printer. The versatile
combination of fax, scan and print capability
in a single space saving unit, coupled with an
economical toner cartridge design, gives the
F104 one of the lowest costs of ownership on
the market today.
HIGH CAPACITY MEMORY OPTIONS
With 7MB of standard memory, 560 A4 pages
can be scanned, stored, sent or received
quickly and easily, enabling large documents
to be transmitted without interruption.
For continuous and seamless business
communications, the expansion option
increases the memory to approximately
2,200 A4 pages.

Web Status Monitor is an easy to use web
based management application that allows
users to check transmission reports, monitor
the status of a fax transmission and change
machine settings over the Internet.
