Google has informed all email service providers they are
ending the partner version of their Gmail pla orm. Therefore,
TCT will be migra ng your tctelco.net email account to a new
webmail pla orm. You can look forward to an email and online
storage capacity of 15GB with an easy-to-use interface and
improved privacy. However, there are a few changes that you
need to be aware of. If you installed any Gmail Apps from the
Google Play or App Store they will no longer work a er March 23, 2015.
Google Docs, Google Drive content, calendars, photos, and videos will NOT be
automa cally transi oned to the new webmail pla orm. To keep these files, you must
download (save) them to a hard drive or other loca on before April 6, 2015 by using
the Google Takeout Tool.
If you access your tctelco.net email through a mobile device or email client like
Microso Outlook, Windows Mail, Apple Mail, Thunderbird, etc.; you will need to
update your Incoming and Outgoing Server se ngs before March 23, 2015. A er that
date if the se ngs are not updated, your device will no longer be able to send or
receive (479-2381) emails.

First Congregational United Church of Christ — Lenten Luncheons
Emporia Sweet Granada — Sweet Treats
The annual Lenten Luncheons at The First Congrega onal United Church of Christ began
on Feb. 19 and will con nue on Thursday’s in March. They are held in Fellowship Hall
and begin at noon with a meal of homemade soup, dessert, relishes and drinks. The
meal is followed by a Lenten Message by a minister of an area church. They conclude
at 1pm. The church is located at 400 W Main St, Council Grove. There is a free-will
dona on. Everyone is welcome to a end.
The Sweet Granada from Emporia will be selling their fresh fudge and gourmet
chocolate treats in the front lobby of the Morris County Hospital on Tuesday, March
24, from 10:30am to 4:30pm. This is your opportunity to fill those Easter baskets with
handmade chocolates. The sale is being sponsored by the Morris County Hospital
Auxiliary with all proceeds going toward the purchase of a new Panda Infant Warmer.
The infant warmer is used for pa ent and fetal monitoring during and a er delivery. If
chocolate is not in your diet consider making a dona on to the Morris County Hospital
Auxiliary for the purchase of the Panda Infant Warmer.
St. Columba Catholic Church — Soup Lunch
The St. Columba Catholic Church in Elmo, located on the corner of highway 4 and 15,
is hos ng their annual Soup Lunch on Sunday, March 15, from 11:30am to 1:30pm.
Serving chicken noodle and chili soup, veggies, crackers, and homemade pie and cake.

White City Christian Church — St. Patrick’s Day Supper
The Chris an Church in White City will be hos ng their St. Patrick’s supper Tuesday,
March 17, at the White City Senior Center. This year’s meal includes a potato bar with

NTCA-Rural Broadband Association are
offering you a chance to win a Kindle Fire

Saturday, March 21, at 10am, the Council Grove/Dunlap United Methodist Church, 21
N Mission St, Council Grove, will be auc oning off items from the current Fellowship
Hall. Items include: light fixtures, doors and door jambs, wiring, kitchen cabinets,
stoves, dishes, and a variety of items donated by the congrega on. A more complete
sale bill will be available closer to the sale date. Proceeds of the sale will be used for
the construc on of a new Fellowship Hall. Cinnamon rolls, coffee, and a lunch menu
will be available the day of the sale by the United Methodist Women. For ques ons

Dwight United Methodist Church — Soup Lunch
The Dwight United Methodist Church is hos ng a fund raising Soup Lunch on Saturday,
March 21 in Fellowship Hall. Serving me is from 11am to 1pm. Three different soups
will be available to choose from along with relishes, dessert and a beverage. Dona ons
for the meal will be used towards the purchase of a new furnace for the church.
Council Grove Public Library — Membership Drive
The 2015 membership drive for the Friends of the Council Grove Public Library will
be going on during March and April. An affiliate of Kansas Friends of the Library, our
purpose is to maintain an associa on of persons interested in libraries and to support
and cooperate with the library in developing library services and facili es for the
community. We’d like to encourage you to join us in this mission. There are four levels
of membership: Individual $5, Family $10, Contribu ng $20, and Life $100. If you are
interested in joining please bring your payment to the front desk of the Council Grove
Public Library or send it to the Friends of the Public Library, C/O Council Grove Public

White City Senior Center — Bus Trip
The White City Senior Center is sponsoring a bus trip to Prairie Band Casino on April
9. The bus will leave the Senior Center at 7am. Cost is $20 a person and you get $10
