A DEDICATED Harriers fan
determined to watch his beloved
side make it third time lucky is
travelling more than 10,500
miles around the globe to cheer
the team on.
Adam Ainsley, 31, is jetting back
to this country from Melbourne
in Australia for a short stay to
take his seat at the nation’s home
of football for Saturday’s historic
game.
The former King Charles I High
School pupil, who moved down
under two-and-a-half-years ago,
said, despite the hundreds of
pounds it has cost, the occasion
could not be missed.
Mr Ainsley, who formerly lived
in Holmcroft Road, said: “I am
making the trip because it is the
biggest game in the club’s history.
“I found out they had made it to
Wembley while I was over in New
Zealand. Before the game I was
in two minds about the result, on
one hand I really wanted them to
win but on the other hand I knew
the air fare was going to cost me
a fortune.
“I have supported them for
about 17 years and seen them
lose at Wembley twice, so hopefully it will be third time lucky.”
The engineer, who has flown to
see his adopted side, Melbourne
Victory, play in Sydney and
Adelaide, will be making the trip
to London with about 15
Kidderminster friends he used to
join in the stands at Aggborough.

New chapter
in Wembley
love affair
A FRESH chapter in the love
affair between Kidderminster
Harriers and Wembley will be
written on Saturday when they
battle it out for the FA Carlsberg
Trophy against Stevenage
Borough on Saturday.
With the opening of a brand new
90,000 seater Wembley stadium, it’s fitting that Harriers are one of the first
non-league clubs to grace its pitch.
This will be the fourth time in 20 years
Kidderminster have played in nonleague’s showpiece event at the spiritual
home of English football.
It’s an impressive record that makes
some of Kidderminster’s League neighbours look on enviously.
This weekend’s final is set to be one of
the most memorable in the competi-

record set to be smashed because of
the added interest in the new super stadium.
Wembley fever has gripped Kidder-
minster since Harriers defeated
Northwich Victoria in the semi-finals in
March.
Such was the interest that Harriers sold
out of their original allocation of 17,500
tickets in a matter of days and had to
twice ask the FA for more just to keep
up with demand.
It means that manager Mark Yates and
his team will be have a 24,000-strong
army of fans to cheer to them at the
venue of legends.
With Stevenage selling at least 20,000
tickets and 23,000 available directly
from the FA, the attendance is on track
to set a record for the final and obliterate the previous one – 34,842 – set back
in 1991 when Harriers played Wycombe
Wanderers.

Pete Harris, a die-sinker at Toye,
Kenning and Spencer, in Birmingham,
has been part of the team behind the
mementos for the winners and losers in
Saturday’s final.
The Stourport resident, of Stagborough
Way, has followed the side since moving
to Wyre Forest in 1970.
Mr Harris, 62, said he was quietly confident the playing surface at Wembley
would play a part in helping Mark Yates
and his players bring the trophy back to
the town.
He explained: “From start to finish it
takes about six weeks to make the final
medals.
“It has been nice working on them
because of the link with Kidderminster.
I know now I would have played a part
in making their medals – I just hope
they are the winners’ ones. I think they
will be.
“It has been a bit up and down this season but the size of the pitch, and the
condition, should let them play the
football they are capable of and that will

help a lot.
“I went down the last time we played at
Wembley and hopefully the result will
be a better one. I did see them lift the
trophy at The Hawthorns but to do it
down there would be that bit special.”
A total of 50 medals – hand-made from
nine-carat gold and about one-and-
three-quarter inches in size – will be
given to players and management from
the two sides at the end of the game.
The Wyre Forest connection does not
end with Mr Harris as Brian Lawley, of
Bewdley, has also had a hand in making
the mementos, although he will not be
at the game.

A host of individual groups have also
arranged to travel to the game by coach,
meaning the equivalent of almost half
the town will be making the trip.
Many shops in Kidderminster will be
closing on the day of the game to allow
their staff to watch Harriers in this historic encounter.
Win or lose, the final could be the
springboard the club needs to launch
even more success and bring back the
League glory days.
The club is also in line to receive a
bumper pay day from the final, which
could dramatically increase their
spending power and attractiveness to
players, as Yates tries to build a team
that can go for promotion in the
Nationwide Conference next season.
Harriers have already banked in the
region of £35,000 in prize money for
making it to the Trophy final.
But that figure could reach as high as
£500,000 because of the surge in ticket
sales.
After FA expenses and overheads have
been subtracted from the total gate
receipts, each team will be
entitled to a 45 per cent cut.
There is also the added incentive of a
£50,000 prize for the winners of the
tournament.
Money, though, will be the furthest
thing from the Kidderminster fans’
minds on match day, as they hope to
watch captain Stuart Whitehead lift the
Trophy above his head at the end of the
game.
Harriers have a habit of being involved
in nail-biting final matches to leave
their supporters’ hearts in their mouths.
The first time Kidderminster reached
the final in 1987 they were held to a 0-0
draw by Burton Albion at Wembley.

This year’s final promises to be just as
close as the two teams have been evenly
matched over the course of the season.
Harriers lost 2-1 to Stevenage at
Aggborough in the Conference in
November but bounced back to win by
the same scoreline in the return at
Broadhall Way and gain a crucial psychological boost before the final.
Whatever happens Kidderminster’s
fans and the club are set for a grand day
out at one of the world’s greatest stadiums.

the streets of Kidderminster on
Sunday to show their appreciation of their history-making side
regardless of the outcome at
Wembley.
Players and staff will pass on
their thanks to the fans during
an open-top bus parade through
the town, which will travel from
the Hoo Farm Industrial Estate
at 2pm to its final destination of
Aggborough.
The club are urging as many
people as possible to come out
for the occasion, which will finish when the doors are opened
at the ground – including the
ones to the bar – to celebrate the
events of the landmark weekend.
On its way the bus will travel
down the A449 into the town centre via New Road, Exchange
Street, past the town hall and
then make its way to the
Aggborough stadium through
Oxford Street, Blackwell Street
and Coventry Street.
A civic reception will take place
at the town hall on Monday night
for players and staff.

into raptures by lifting the Trophy at
the end of the game.
Yates has been planning his side’s
preparations for Saturday’s day of
destiny since their dramatic semifinal victory over Northwich Victoria
in March to ensure his weary troops
will be fresh and fighting fit for the
big game.
The effects of a long, hard season
have taken their toll on the club’s
small squad, particularly during the
run-in when a gruelling schedule of
two games a week in the final two
months drained their energy.
“We had a lot of games at the end of
the season but we toned down
training once reaching the play-offs
was out of the question to help
players conserve energy for the
final,” said the manager.
“But we’ve
stepped
up the
intensity
again
since the
Conference
finished
to make sure
the players are fit
and ready for the
match. The Trophy final
became our focus near the
end of the season so there was
definitely a method to our
madness.
“The good thing is that all our
players are fit and ready for
action, we don’t have any
injuries to worry about.”
With a fully fit squad to
choose from the manager’s
main selection headache is
the full-back position, with
first team regular Jonny
Harkness suspended for
the final.

keeping his cards close to his chest.
He said: “I’ve got my own ideas
about how the team is going to
shape up for the final but it’s up to
the players to impress me and the
coaches in training.”
The manager is also confident that
playing in the first FA Carlsberg
Trophy final in the all-new Wembley
stadium in front of a near capacity
crowd won’t faze his players.
“We’ve got a good mix of youth and
old heads in the team.
“The older players in the side will
have the experience to deal with the
day.
“Younger players can let the nerves
of the big occasion get to them. But
you know what young players are
like, they play without fear and
we’re hoping that’s what will happen on the day.
“We’re all going down to see the
ground the day before to get the
wow factor out of the way.
“It’s a day to be enjoyed but we
also have to work hard to get the
job done.
“It’s great to know we’ll have so
many fans coming down to watch
us. I know there are a few coming
down to see the ground, which is
understandable, but it’s going to
be an incredible day for the team
and supporters.
“Appearing at Wembley is the pinnacle of any player’s career, this
will be a special day for all the
players but it’s important we are
focused on the job in hand, which
is winning the Trophy.”

“It’s being brought up with the
club in the blood and I think
that’s what’s happened here over
the last 18 months or so. Neil
Savery, for instance, is now a
director and his father and brother were former chairmen.”
Hubert, however, didn’t just
restrict his duties to that of trainer. He also wrote reports on far
flung away matches for the local
newspapers, including the
Kiddermainster Shuttle.
“When Harriers were away, say
at Dover, he used to do all the
reports for the papers because
they couldn’t afford to send anybody there.”
Barry will no doubt have a tear
in his eye – and a thought for his
dear old dad – when Harriers’
players troop out onto the new
Wembley turf on Saturday.
“If he were alive it would be fantastic for him to be there. But
there’s a lot of people who’ve
worked hard for this club over the
years and for me to be here for
such a short period and achieve

Hubert, who died in 1981 at the
age of 76, was associated with the
club from 1947 to 1963, and got
Barry involved with life at
Aggborough at a very early age.
“When I was a young lad he
used to bring me over on a
Sunday morning in my pram to
clean the boots. Dad used to do
everything in the dressing room,
even washing, and I used to be a
regular at Aggborough on a
Sunday from about 9am to 1pm.
He’d be very proud of me now,
he was Harriers through and
through.”
Alveley-born Hubert, along with
the then secretary Ted Gamson,
played a major role in bringing
several yesteryear heroes to
Kidderminster, including one of
the club’s most famous products
– Gerry Hitchens.
In those days Alveley, and nearby Highley across the River
Severn, were active coal mining
communities which often provided Harriers with a rich vein of
footballing talent, including
Hitchens, a former pit boy from
Highley.
Harriers first became interested
when he played at Aggborough
for Highley Miners Welfare in
the 1952-3 Harriers Junior Cup
final.
The free-scoring striker went
on to play for England as well
as Cardiff City, Aston Villa and
Inter Milan – a glittering career
which Hubert was proud to
have helped launch. Another
Highley lad loyal Hubert
helped become a firm
Aggborough favourite was
defender and captain
Aubrey Haycox who
served Harriers with distinction from 1948 to
1961.
“Dad worked down
the pit at Alveley and
brought in quite a few
footballers from
there and Highley,”
said Barry, who’s

HARRIERS’ experienced defender Jeff
Kenna is set to enter the record books
when he becomes one of the first two
players to perform at both the old and
new Wembley stadiums.
The other campaigner poised to share the
same distinction is someone he intends to keep
in check on Saturday – Stevenage’s winger Steve
Guppy.
“I believe I’ll be one of the first couple of players to have played at both the old and new
Wembley, so it will be a great honour and I’m
absolutely thrilled,” said the 36 year-old rightback, who battled it out between the famous
Twin Towers for both Blackburn Rovers and
Southampton.
“I played there for Southampton in the Zenith
Data Systems Cup in 1992 and we lost 3-2 to
Nottingham Forest.
“I was then lucky enough to play
there again for Blackburn against
Everton in the Charity Shield in 1995,
but I fractured my tibia after about 20 minutes.
“I had to come off and we lost 1-0.”
The former Republic of Ireland international
is now determined to make it third time lucky
with a Wembley win to celebrate on Saturday.
“We’ve just got to make sure we soak up everything and don’t let the excitement and the honour of the occasion pass us by,” said the former
Birmingham City and Derby County captain.
Guppy will be equally keen to make it another
Wembley day to remember, having played at
the old stadium for Leicester City when they
beat Tranmere Rovers 2-1 in the 2000 League
Cup final.

Amazing arch is
THE most striking highly visible feature of the new £757
million Wembley Stadium is
obviously the 133-metre arch
that sits above the north stand.
The steel arch is 315 metres long and
is the longest single roof structure in
the world. It is visible right across
London.
The arch supports all of the weight of
the north roof and 60 per cent of the
weight of the southern side.
By using an arch to bear some of the
weight of the southern roof it is possible to retract the south roof to allow
light and air onto the pitch.
The arch also ensures that there are
no pillars in the new stadium which
could obstruct the views of fans.
One of the key challenges of the
design team was to keep the famously
high standard of the Wembley pitch
while, at the same time, designing a
stadium with stands that are higher
and closer to the pitch than the original stadium and give better uninterrupted views.

“Obviously there’s a new generation at Aggborough now and
I’d like to think they’re good
enough to win it. To be honest I
haven’t seen Stevenage at all
this season so I can’t really comment on them. But they’re not
going to be easy by any means

triumph.
He said: “When I was playing,

a new thing that there was so
much interest and the town was
buzzing for weeks.
“When it became a reality it

Wembley was fantastic. For me
to play there was unbelievable.
“It was the pinnacle if you were
playing non-league football and
at that time we were just establishing ourselves as a top nonleague club. But it was beyond
our wildest dreams to be going
to play at Wembley.”
Davies, however, had mixed
emotions after the Wembley
stalemate.
“Personally, I was very disappointed it was 0-0 having
missed the best chance of the
game. I missed with about six
minutes to go, hitting the crossbar from about six yards out.
“Although I think I played quite
well on the day I had the lasting
memory of that miss and the
replay on the following Tuesday
at West Brom couldn’t come
quick enough in the hope that I
could redeem myself, which fortunately I did with two goals.
“There was a bit of fortune with
the first one in as much as it was
a deflection, but when you
score a goal in a Trophy final
you don’t worry about how pretty it is!”

‘I’d just love to be playing’
“Then I was lucky enough to get the
second one which turned out to be
the winner. Obviously, it was a dream
come true for me having had the disappointment of that miss at
Wembley.”
The next time Harriers reached the
final was in 1991 when 34,842 spectators saw them lose 2-1 to Wycombe
Wanderers at Wembley in a match
which Davies missed due to difficulties with a serious back injury.
“Although I was back playing I’d had
quite a few problems throughout that
season.
“I’d only scored four or five goals in
the Conference and, basically, I was
just struggling to get my fitness back
after a major operation and missing a
whole season. Consequently, I was in
and out of the side and by my own
admission I was struggling for form. I
probably didn’t merit a place at that
time, although I was disappointed to
be left out.
“But that was the way it was. It was a
disappointment although I travelled
with the team and sat and watched
the game.
“It was a low point in my career at
Harriers, so when we got there again
in 1995 it was great to be involved
again.”
On that occasion Davies, who made
over 650 appearances and scored
more than 300 goals during his illustrious Aggborough career, hit the target against Woking who won 2-1 after
extra time in front of a 17,815 crowd.
“Obviously, playing at Wembley
again was great, although it was
becoming by then less of an occasion
simply because we and the supporters had been there before. Certainly,
as far as the players were concerned,
it was a great occasion, but we were
so disappointed to lose in the manner we did because we played very
well on the day.
“From a personal point of view I had
a ‘goal’ disallowed in the first half
which was nowhere near offside, so it
could’ve been the same scenario as in
the replay against Burton with me
scoring two goals. But sadly I wasn’t
to be.”
Davies smiles when he admits he’d
love to play in Saturday’s match.
“In fact, I’d just love to be playing! It’s
such a wrench to have to pack in,
although it comes to us all.
“But it’s all about the players who are
there now. I’m still personal friends of
Mark Yates and Neil Howarth and I’m
really pleased for them. I’ll certainly
be rooting for them on the day.”

A PROUD father is celebrating after his son
clinched the chance to
follow in his footsteps
up Wembley Way.
Mark Penn played in front
of the famous Twin Towers
on three occasions, winning
two FA Vase finals and losing another with Halesowen
Town during the 1980s.
Now son Russ is set to
appear at the new Wembley
stadium after playign a key
part in helping Harriers
reach Saturday’s nonleague cup showpiece.
The 21-year-old midfielder scored a crucial goal in
Harriers’ semi-final victory
over Northwich Victoria, a
game his dad could not
attend as he was in Italy
watching younger son
Michael play for the
England under-18s rugby
union team.
Mark said: “We were stuck
in a hotel room in Verona
while the game was on
which was really frustrating.
“When we heard the result
we were delighted and I’m
really proud of him.
“Russ has not had the best
of it at times during his
career, and it just goes to
show what can happen if
you stick at it and have
faith. The fact it is at the
new stadium will only make
it extra special.”
Mark’s last appearance for
Halesowen at the old stadium was in a 3-0 triumph
over Southall in 1986, having previously played in the
1984 victory against
Fleetwood and 1983 defeat
by VS Rugby.
He said: “It’s an old cliche
but I will just tell Russ to go
and enjoy it. You never
never know when you will
get the chance to play there
again.”
While memories of his
own experiences are still
fresh in his mind, the former full-back said he would
try not to bore Russ before
the big day, something his
son thinks could be difficult.
Russ said: “Dad is always
going on about Wembley,
he never shuts up about it!
“I know how happy he is
at the moment though, it’s
going to be a great day for
everyone.”

And on Saturday Whitehead, whose
previous clubs include Darlington,
Telford United and Shrewsbury Town,
will be “doing something” to try to
ensure Harriers win the Trophy.
He said: “Without any doubt it’s the
pinnacle of anyone’s career playing at
the new Wembley, especially being
one of the first teams to play there. It’
ll be a phenomenal day.
“In football I’ve always
thought there’s a lot
more lows than highs.
A lot of people
don’t realise
that so
when
the highs
come along
you’ve really got
to take advantage and cherish
them. This Saturday is going to give
fans and players memories because
we’re going to be talking about it
forever.
“It’s not just for me and for the
players, it’s for all the fans. I’ve got
about a hundred people going down
to watch it and it just brings everyone together, having all the family
there. It just shows you what it
means to everyone. It’s just
going to be a fantastic day out.
“I’m 30 years old now and
been around 12-13 years playing football and you think
the good times have gone. I
started out at Bolton and
that was all good times.
Then you start slipping
down the leagues, but I’ve
come to Kidderminster and
it’s been the best season of
my life.”

MARK CREIGHTON: The Birminghamborn central defender, who was at
Aggborough as a youth before playing for
Moor Green, Paget Rangers, Halesowen
Town, Bromsgrove Rovers, Willenhall
Town and Redditch United, has had an outstanding season and figured prominently in
all eight of Harriers’ Trophy games this season.
MICHAEL BLACKWOOD: The energetic
midfielder missed Harriers’ first round
replay at Vauxhall Motors and the second
round trip to Exeter City because of injury,
but played his part in the 3-1 third round
replay win at Braintree Town by scoring his
side’s opening goal in the 70th minute.
JONNY HARKNESS: The Northern Irelandborn left-back has featured throughout
Harriers’ roller-coaster Trophy campaign,
making his presence felt with a number of
telling displays. Before being handed his
first team debut against Scarborough in
January last year, he had previously played
for Walsall, Cambridge United and
Halesowen Town. Misses final due to ban
ater being sent off against Grays last month.
GAVIN HURREN: Has played in defence
and in mid-field while making five appearances for Harriers in the Trophy this season. Formerly on Nottingham Forest’s
books, he found the net in his side’s 3-1

RUSS PENN: Has been a terrier in the midfield department for Harriers throughout
the season. He missed the goalless third
round clash with Braintree at Aggborough
due to suspension, but played well in the
rest of the Trophy encounters. The
Wordsley-born campaigner was with
Harriers as a youth player.
SIMON RUSSELL: When at his best the talented mid-fielder has been a class act this
season and will relish to the opportunity to
show off his skills on the new Wembley turf.
He scored in the first Trophy game against
Vauxhall Motors and again in the replay at
Braintree.
IYSEDEN CHRISTIE: The experienced exMansfield Town striker will be aiming to
add to his season’s 12-goal tally by hitting
the net at Wembley. He notched the allimportant goal in Harriers’ 1-0 second
round triumph at Exeter City as well as
scoring in the Aggborough clash with
Vauxhall Motors.
JAMES CONSTABLE: Harriers’ leading
scorer in the Trophy this season with seven
goals to his credit in eight appearances. His
impressive haul included a treble in the
replay at Vauxhall Motors – the first
Harriers’ hat-trick since Feburary 2003. He
arrived at Aggborough from Walsall after
previously being with Chippenham Town.
JAKE SEDGEMORE: Has made four
appearances as a substitute in the Trophy
for Harriers this term, but was in the starting line-up for the game at Exeter and for
the two encounters with Braintree. His previous clubs include Hednesford Town,
Northwich, Shrewsbury Town, Bury and
Burton Albion.
BRIAN SMIKLE: Unable to cement a regular
place for Harriers this season, but has
helped in their progress to Wembley by
being in the Trophy starting line-up twice as
well as being a substitute on three occasions. The winger has previously played on
loan for Hereford United and Halifax.
ANDY WHITE: The striker has failed to
make a big impact this term which ended
with him going out on loan to Stafford
Rangers. His only Trophy goal was during a
substitute appearance in the replay at
Vauxhall Motors when he found the target
in stoppage time.
MICHAEL McGRATH: The mid-fielder’s
only starting line-up appearance in the
Trophy for Harriers was when boss Mark
Yates drafted him into the side as a replacement for injured Michael Blackwood in the
replay with Vauxhall Motors. He was on the
bench in two other Trophy ties.
LUKE REYNOLDS: The striker has made
five substitute appearances – more than any
other Harriers player – during the Trophy
campaign. In one of them – the 4-4 draw
with Vauxhall Motors – he scored his side’s
fourth goal which looked like being the winner until the visitors equalised deep into
stoppage time.
GARY HAY: After making a non-contract
move in February from neighbouring
Bromsgrove Rovers to act as extra cover
for Mark Yates’ squad, the former
Alvechurch, Willenhall Town and AFC
Telford front-runner played for 74 minutes
in Harriers’ Trophy win at Halifax before

Burnley and Cheltenham Town, is
now anxious to help Yates mastermind Stevenage’s downfall.
“As we’re one of the first club sides
to be playing at the new Wembley I
think it’s something we’ll look back
on in years to come and be really
proud. Don’t get me wrong, we
wanted to get promoted either as
champions or through the playoffs but it never happened that
way. But it’s a bit of a consolation
prize to get to the new Wembley!
“We’ve been using the fact that it’s
there as a motivation for this trophy and the fact that we’ve got to
Wembley means it doesn’t end
there. The last thing the lads want
to do is go there and lose because
it’ll be the worst day of their professional lives.”
Howarth admits, however, that
this time his Wembley day out will
be in stark contrast to back in
1996.
“It’s a lot different being in the
position I’m in now than playing.
And I’d like to be playing – I really
would! As a player I used to get
quite nervous before games and
then when it started I was okay. On
this side of things, I’m okay in the
run-up to the games but when it
starts it can be horrible.
“When you’re on the pitch and
you’re winning 1-0 in the last
minute and you ’ve got a corner
against you, you really do feel
quite confident. You think “we all
know our jobs, we can deal with
it”. On this side of things I start
thinking does everybody know
their job, so I do get more nervous
during the game now.”

First leg lead

➤ So far so good, as a semi-final double header against Conference rivals
Northwich Victoria beckoned.
Harriers had established a reputation
as being better away from home so the
order of the legs with the first tie at
Aggborough and the second at Victoria
Stadium suited the red and whites.
And part one could not have gone better as Hurren smashed them into the
lead and Constable added a second
before a solid showing secured a 2-0
first leg lead.
Then disaster struck. There was a wind
of change blowing straight into
Harriers’ faces in part two at Northwich
and the Cheshire side were somehow
back level on aggregate with two goals
in 20 minutes.
But man mountain Mark Creighton
kick-started Kidderminster with his first
ever goal for the club and Penn put
them 4-2 up overall with a second-half
strike and despite a controversial late
penalty for Steve Burr’s men, Harriers
held on.
An impromptu pitch invasion saw the
chairman chair-lifted onto the shoulders of jubilant fans as joyous chants
rang around the ground and continued
long into the night back at the Harriers
Arms at Aggborough.
And if the memory is correct, the words
of the song went something like this:
“Que sera sera, whatever will be, will be,
we’re going toWembley, que sera sera!” ➤

MARK Stimson is aiming for a hat-trick of FA

charge of Grays Athletic
in 2005 and 2006.
The Stevenage boss,
however, is playing
down his chance of a
magical treble, saying:
“The final is not about
me, it’s about the players. I just tell them what
to do, but they’re the
ones who go out and do
it on the pitch.
“I’m not concentrating
on winning it for the
third time in a row. I
just want to win it for
the club. It will be a

Kidderminster and I’m

Boro began their
Trophy campaign in
free-scoring form when
George Boyd hammered four goals in a 70 home demolition of
shell-shocked Merthyr
Tydfil.
Broadhall Way was
also the venue for the
second round when
Stimson’s men saw off
Leigh RMI 3-1.
Then a tough trip to
Morecambe ended in a
1-1 draw before Boro
took another big step
towards Wembley by
winning the replay 3-0.
A 3-0 home victory
over Salisbury City set
up a two-legged semifinal against Grays who
lifted the Trophy in
2005 by beating
Hucknall Town in a
penalty shoot-out and
then holding on to the
silverware last season
by overcoming Woking.
This time, however,
Grays were denied the
chance of another
appearance in the final
when beaten 3-1 on
aggregate by bouyant
Boro.
It enabled them to
reach the final for the
second time, the first
occasion ending in a 20 defeat against Yeovil
Town at Villa Park in
2002.
