Ministry
Welcome
As we continue to share our faith
during the EACH initiative, it is so
important to remember the simple
essence of salvation. We cannot
save anyone.
Only Jesus saves, as sinners
believe in Him. Even Scripture
doesn't save, but it constantly,
faithfully, truthfully points people
to the Savior, Jesus.

2WordStory.com
Every story has a before and an
after. Please go to this website,
and listen to some real stories.
Then consider your own story.
Pray that God will give you the
opportunity to be a witness—to tell
your story of the difference Jesus
Christ has made in your life. Invite
people who do not know Christ yet,
to visit the 2wordstory.com website.
Outreach Resources
In order to assist you in sharing
the Good News of Jesus Christ,
excellent tracts are available at the
display counter in the Atrium Café.
on behalf of our church family, of $18,391 to Pastor Fuki of the Japanese church in Novi.
This special offering will now be sent to the Sendai Bible Church for their relief and
evangelism efforts within that devastated area. Thank you for your generosity.
Eyeglasses needed. Beginning next Sunday, May 15, the Uganda Medical Short
Term Mission Team will begin collecting used eye glasses to distribute later this summer
for the medical clinic at Kampala Baptist Church. This is an opportunity to put your old
glasses to good use. A container will be available at the Global Missions table in the foyer.
Giving Tree. Plan to participate in bringing food items for our spring/summer food
drive. These food items will help stock the shelves of local missions and organizations
throughout the Detroit Metro area. Watch for further details.
Pray for Tim Munger, as he serves with Friends of Israel in Michigan. Pray
for meetings they plan to hold this month in Frankenmuth and Grand Rapids. They are
thankful for God’s leading for a speaker and soloist for their Honor Israel Night in Grand
Rapids. Pray for their participation in the Walk for Israel May 15 at Temple Shir Shalom in
West Bloomfield at 1 PM. Pray for a music team to lead their YouthFEST worship time for
their upcoming conference in December, 2011.
Work Projects Needed
Our High School Southfield Missions
Team is looking for work projects to be
done in the afternoons during Kids
Camp week, June 22-25.
We would like to serve those in our
church community and those connected
to our church family—with some larger
duty jobs if possible.
If you, or someone you know
is in need of help with a project that
would otherwise be a difficulty, please
contact Sara in the Student Ministry
office @ ext. 289.
Resource Center
