Compressors & Piping Components: Powerex model SLAE air
cooled, oilless, rotary scroll complete with:
cast aluminium crankcase
one fixed and one moving orbital scroll
Teflon tip seal
continuously lubricated sealed bearings
shaft driven radial fan, air shroud, and finned flywheeel for
cooling
motor pulley, V-belt drive and OSHA guard
air-to-air aftercooler
air intake filter with replaceable element, inlet isolation valve,
and 316L stainless steel flexible coupling
outlet check valve, outlet isolation valve, ASME pressure
relief valve, condensate separator, unloader solenoid valve,
and 316L stainless steel flexible coupling
Piping: Discharge piping of Type L degreased copper and Schedule 40
brass pipe and fittings. Unions to be provided for ease of installation and
service.
Receiver: Welded steel, galvanized inside and outside, powdercoated, ASME certified and CRN registered for a working pressure
of 200 PSI and complete with: sight glass; ASME rated pressure
relief valve; 2½” liquid-filled, 200 PSI pressure gauge; automatic
and manual drain valves; test valve and muffler; two inspection
openings.
Control Panel: Special inspection approved, NEMA 12 enclosure,
factory prewired, system mounted, and tested, and complete with:
main disconnect switch
door interlock disconnect switch (each pump)
motor circuit controllers with motor overload protection and
push-button manual disconnect (each pump)
variable-speed motor drives (each pump)
two control transformers with primary and secondary fusing
Manual / Off / Auto selector,switches (each pump)
90 dB alarm buzzer, Silence Button, Alarm Reset Button
PLC controls
4-line interactive text display complete with system status and
alarm events, hour meters, vacuum level, user adjustable
settings, and password protection.
Numbered terminal strip with dry contacts for site connection
to Master Alarm panel for: Lag/Failure; Motor Overload; High
Temperature; Transformer Failure.
Programming and Control:
Lead pump(s) to operate between 90 and 120 PSI.
Lead pump(s) to automatically alternate.
High temperature alarm and shutdown set at 175o C.
Lag alarm set at 85 PSI and to require manual reset.
Lag/Failure alarm contacts to open on: Lag condition; Motor
Overload; Power Failure; Transformer Failure; Selector
Switch not in Auto position.
