Refund Policy and Travel Information
Refund Policy
In the unhappy event, for any reason, you cannot attend the Bellastoria Press Writing Retreat at Tenuta di
Spannocchia, the following policies will apply.
Transferring your registration to a 3rd party:
In the event that you cannot attend the retreat but know of someone who can take your place, you can transfer the
full amount of your fees paid to the 3rd party without penalty, on condition that we are notified promptly by both
parties of this transaction.
If you cancel more than 60 days prior to the retreat:
Your deposit will be forfeited but the balance of your fees paid will be refunded to you.
If you cancel less than 60 days prior to the retreat and you cannot fill your place:
You will forfeit the entire fee paid.
If you cancel less than 60 days prior to the retreat and you can fill your place:
You will forfeit your deposit but we will refund the balance of fees paid.
If we cancel a retreat:
We will refund to you all funds you have paid to date for that event.
Filling your spot is your responsibility, although we may have a waiting list and will be happy to contact those on
the list, if possible.
Please note: You are strongly urged to consider buying travel insurance from a reputable source to cover
any losses you might incur as a result of your late cancellation.
Travel Information
Included in the retreat fee is round-trip ground transportation from the Rome airport to Tenuta di Spannocchia via
chartered bus. In order to provide this amenity, we ask that you book your flight through our travel agent, Barbara
Burati, at Burati Travel Inc., so that she can facilitate the arrival of all participants within a convenient window of
time. Barbara is also knowledgeable about travel insurance and can advise you on the best alternatives. Her contact
