Material characteristics
Containing approximately 93% of natural raw materials
including quartz, Technistone® is considerably more durable
than quality granite. Additional components include a
high-quality resin, color pigments and selected materials from
glass, mirror chips etc., giving the material its characteristic
appearance. Technistone® behaves very similarly to natural
stone during fabrication, but it is stronger, its water absorption
is significantly lower and it can be used in large formats of low
thickness, which has proven to be a significant advantage.

Surfaces
General use
The entire range of Technistone® tiles comes in various
surfaces for special projects. Polished is the most frequently
chosen surface, with an elegant appearance and very easy
maintenance.
Tiles made of the Technistone® material are intended for indoor
use only.
Compatible with most floor heating systems.
The production process and the raw materials used, determine
the very low water absorption characteristics of the product.
That is why the requirements for the sub-base and bonding
materials are different than those for natural stone or ceramics.
