Don’t cry for me, I’m in the hands of the Lord, I’ve lived my life to the fullest, I’ve toiled and
labored in this world all my life I raised my children to be all they can be, and to pray to the
Lord and trust in him only. In this world which I’m no longer a part of I have seen both
good and bad but threw it all the Lord has always brought me through. His grace and his
mercy have been with me down thru the years for it was he who fearfully and wonderfully
made me. The Lord has walked even closer with me during these past few months and now
he has set my spirit free. I am leaving many memories for those I love. Its al-right, don’t cry
for me all is well with my soul for I have run the race that was set before me and I have
endured till the end. It’s alright.

sympathy, and acts of kind consideration shown in our time of bereavement.
Dear Family,
There are few things more difficult than dealing with the loss of a loved one. We, along with our staff, are
honored and humbled that you have chosen our family to care for your family during this time. It is our
hope that we have been able, in some small way, to lighten your burden and give proper reverence to a life
lived.
Respectfully,

Anthony Fowler 51, of South Bend, Indiana received his wings on Wednesday, March 19, 2014. He
went home to be with the Lord at Memorial Hospital due to his chronic heart condition.
Anthony was born in Newark, New Jersey to the union of Javoyd and Lorene Fowler.
Anthony Fowler was affectionately known to some as “Yacine” he graduated from Barringer High
School in Newark, New Jersey. Anthony subsequently moved to South Bend, Indiana in 1982 and later

was in sales and marketing, he worked for many years in the private sector but his passion was working for
non-for profit organizations. Anthony’s hobby was landscaping we called him “Edward Scissor Hands”.
Anthony gave his life to Christ at an early age; he loved and feared the Lord. Anthony was very outspoken
and the most confident, giving and encouraging person you ever wanted to meet his energy was
electrifying, he was very resourceful and full of life and love, with a smile so bright it lit up a room
(literally) and a golden laugh. He would always lift your spirits and give you a word of encouragement.
Anthony fought a courageous fight without ever losing faith and always keeping god first and giving him
the praise. Every day was truly a new day in Anthony’s life and the sky was the limit.
