outstanding job keeping the church clean, and we
are very pleased with his work.
The Capital Campaign is in the final weeks of the
“silent phase” as major donors are being contacted
and the various committee are finishing up on details that will bring us to the final stages of the campaign.
In addition to our kick-off event on Sunday,
April 10, two other events are planned to highlight our journey towards the future:
 A contemplative Taize service will be held
on Wednesday, April 13, at 7 p.m. The service will include music by the Christ

Christ Church Capital Campaign Prayer
Holy One of the Universe, in your radical love for all of creation you bestow upon us blessings beyond measure and gifts of
grace beyond our wildest imagining. As we commit ourselves
to the Capital Campaign and the task of raising funds for the
enhancement of our beautiful Christ Church buildings, help us
to find within our hearts a love like yours. Daily remind us that
we make this commitment not for our own glorification but for
yours and that we do it from a place of deep caring for the
members of our church family and all in the wider community
to whom you would have us be witnesses of your love.
Strengthen us now as you help us bring to fruition our dreams
for Christ Church. With faith, we pray. AMEN.

Happy Easter! What a wonderful season! On Sunday
we had the Liturgy of the Light celebration in the
teaching that God, Jesus, The Good Shepherd love us
and we are his. During Father Tristan’s Easter sermon, he told the story about warring gangs in Mexico and how when asked by the priest how the church
could help a gang member said all the church has to
offer is death. One of the
changes the priest made was
to use the Risen Christ crucifix. The Alter work uses the

Econo Food Receipts Update
Christ Church has taken on a project to raise money
for our Sunday School and Youth program. You can
help by saving your EconoFood grocery receipts.
We recently received $1,000 from EconoFoods.
Keep those receipts coming by dropping them in the
box on the buffet in the Parish Hall.
Needed
Becky Bangard takes in foster children (sometimes
in the middle of the night) and they arrive at her house
with no change of clothes. So, we are in need of baby
and childrenʹs clothing. If you can help please call
Becky or call Char Friedrich (for Junior Guild),
388-9259.
