Self Serve Concept
The self serve concept hasn’t been around long, and it is really just
starting to heat up here in the Upstate New York area.
It is a concept that features multiple (usually 5-8) machines built into
a wall, and is a complete self serve experience. The customer fills a
cup with yogurt or soft serve of their choosing, with as many flavors
as they wish. Then they move to the toppings area and choose from a variety of
20-40 toppings. Their product is then weighed on a scale and they pay by the
ounce.
