ANUNAL REUNION 2011
Let us remember, in the last minute, because saturation of the " Place du Cinquantenaire " by a
European trade union demonstration we were forced to postpone the date of our meeting for a
week. It was a real challenge, but everyone answering the phone and it was finally done without
much difficulty. Except that this postponement has unfortunately prevented members Serge
MARTIN (Cadet), Jacques MELCHIOR (Melkiki) and Danny CABOOTER (CAB), to confirm their
participation for reasons of personal obligation.
So a nice day was waiting for us and, as usual, a great atmosphere of reunion
and again we found our commitment to an annual meeting being respected

 IN MEMORIAM : Let us remember, the death of our friend and
member Roger KÖLLER on 06-February-2011.
Roger was born in Verviers September 23, 1933
joined the Air Force 01-March-53. He enlisted the
127th promotion on 08-Feb-55. and after
graduation he joined the 350th, 11th, 349th, 7th
and 8th Squadron. He flew SV4bis, T6, Meteor IV, Meteor VII,
Meteor VIII, Hunter IV, Hunter VI, CF100, F84G, SF260-M and Fouga. We will remember him.

Oversight or deliberate ? A man has forgotten his wife along a country road
after a pause pipi performed at 3am. The deserted wife found herself alone,
barefoot and without a mobile phone. She headed for the village and knocked

France will receive the first A400M, in December 2012
A Belgian military pilot, Lieutenant Colonel Tanguy Flamant,
join the test program of the new European transport aircraft
Airbus A400M, a device called now called "Grizzly"
This officer, pilot C-130 "Hercules" in 1996 and has since
participated in numerous military operations abroad, join
Toulouse (southwestern France) in early September to attend
two years of testing A400M, sources said the agency Belga. Lt.

said in a statement. The agreement was
signed by France, Germany, Spain, the
United Kingdom and Belgium (on behalf
also of Luxembourg) was held
Wednesday noon at the 49th Paris Air
Show. The agreement was signed on behalf of Belgium by the Head
of Strategy for Staff of Defence, Lieutenant-General Guido Andries,
said the Ministry of Defence. The seventh customer for the A400M,
Turkey should ratify this agreement in the coming weeks, according
to Longuet.
In Belgium, the first of seven A400M ordered in 2003 to succeed the
C-130 "Hercules" aging will not be delivered until 2020.
