MISSION STATEMENT
Courtney Trimble
To enrich the lives of the young people in the
Metropolitan Louisville area by providing unique
programs and affordable facilities which
promote character development
and positive life skills through the game of golf.
HISTORY
University of Louisville
Head Women’s Golf Coach
The First Tee of Louisville, a Chapter of The
First Tee, an international youth development
organization, was founded in 2005.
Courtney Trimble a Duluth, Georgia
native, is in her fourth season as the head
coach of the University of Louisville women’s
golf program. In her short time at the helm, she
has helped take the Cardinals to new heights.
The Cardinals have seen resurgence both on
the course and in the classroom under Trimble.
OPERATIONS
During her tenure, the Cardinals have
recorded 10 team victories, including the 2014
American Athletic Conference Championship.
Players have also had individual success under
Trimble, Cardinals have won eight individual
titles on the course, and six Cardinals have
been named to All-Conference teams. Trimble
has also lead the Cardinals to a return to the
NCAA’s, the Cardinals have advanced to the
NCAA Regionals each of the past two seasons,
and looked poised to do so again in 2016.
Trimble, the 2014 American Athletic
Conference Coach of the Year, also preaches
excellence in the classroom. The Cardinals have
been in the Top-10 Nationally in APR each of
the past three seasons, recording perfect
scores of 1000 in each season.
