introduces the ‘Advanced Series’ Oil and Acrylic Easel
The En Plein Air Pro Oil and Acrylic Easel is lightweight, portable and fully
adjustable. Panel holder holds up to 16” x 12” or down to 6” x 8”panels or stretched
canvas. Easel and adjustable panel holder are made of tough ABS material.
The vertical mounting design eliminates the “top-heavy rocking” that can occur
in other tripod/pochade box set-ups. Max height to center of panel or canvas is 58”.
Tripod easily adjusts for a sitting painter.
Our new SLIK U8000 Tripod is a full-size medium duty (weight 3.3#) with a wide
stance for increased stability in the field. The easel and panel holder attaches easily
with a “quick-disconnect mount.” It also comes with a screw-in leg to convert to a
table easel. This is handy in a motel room where space limits use of a tripod.
The “Advanced Series’ Oil and Acrylic Palette” is lightweight, functional, and truly
unique. Palette frame constructed of tough thermoformed 1/4” ABS material and
features a 6 hole brush holder. Aluminum Plates on the tripod leg attachments
increase stability. The working surface is a layer of clear PETG (not acrylic).
Surface resists scratching and cleans up with a paper towel moistened with turps.
Underneath the PETG is a built in value scale. Neutral gray working surface is
9.75” x 15.25”. Max height to top of palette = 37”.
The palette cover has a slide-out shelf made of 6 mm grey PVC. It is the perfect
place to lay your palette knife or your thumbnail sketch. This shelf will fit on either
side of palette and has extra holes for brushes. Included is a “clothespin” clamp to be
placed on tripod leg-opposite of the sliding shelf. The cover slides underneath the
palette and has a 3” hole to accept the turps jar.

Turps jar is made of lightweight PPG plastic (not glass). Comes equipped with
a butyl rubber gasket and a locking lid. The jar drops into the palette cover hole for
easy access and holds 7 oz. No more hanging/swinging turps containers !!
The easel, panel holder, palette, turps jar, slide out shelf and SLIK 8000 tripod all
fit neatly inside the included “Advanced Series” Carry-All Bag. The bag, made of
heavy-duty Cordura,with plenty of room for paints, brushes and more measures
12”H x 27”W x 12”D. Bag has backpack straps and a shoulder strap. The total weight
of easel, palette and tripod is a super light

– perfect for one quarter sheets. It still has a retractable brush holder, water pail hook and
photo-tripod mounting system. Made of rugged ABS plastic, it’s built

With over 80 square inches of mixing wells, our new “Advanced Series”
Watercolor Palette Shelf is like having a studio palette in the field.
Unlike other lightweight plastic palettes on the market that quickly become
brittle with use, the “Advanced Series” Watercolor Palette Shelf is made of heavy duty
ABS thermoformed material (not brittle styrene plastic).
Sized 11.5” x 16” x 3mm – it has two large mixing reservoirs, 14 generous sized
paint wells, a 3” diameter hole for a watercup, and slots to accept the
collapsible waterpail that comes with every palette.
The adjustable tab system allows the “Advance Series” Watercolor Palette Shelf to be
mounted on tripods with different leg diameters. Legs can be round
or square. The palette lays flat on a table so you can also use it as a studio palette.
The “Advanced Series” Palette Shelf comes with a grey 3mm PVC cover for
transporting it to and from the field.

Converts the watercolor easel to a table easel. Included with every easel.
Slik U8000 Tripod This is a full-sized medium duty tripod with a wide stance for increased stability in the
field. The tripod weighs just 3.3 lbs. and folds to 23.25”. Fully adjustable from flat to vertical.
