hen Hi-Lo Industries Inc., made the decision to diversify
into residential cabinetry over 17 years ago they
formed a new division, Bridgewood Custom
Cabinetry. At a time when many small manufacturers
were sure that the advent of large corporations
tailoring their services to meet the needs and
expertise levels of mass merchandisers would
mean their demise, we saw opportunity. We knew
our companies “right” size and ability to personalize
the product was a great alternative for those who cared
about product choices, fit and finish. Instead of investing
in big ad campaigns and store promotions for our vendors
we invested our resources in the product to assure the end user
gets the most for their money. To assure a great experience even
after production, we aligned ourselves with professional designers
who can manage the job from start to finish so that a good
beginning has a good end.
Bridgewood is a family-owned business that is small
enough that we do not have to make decisions based on
what is best for the bottom line next quarter to please
investors, but what is good for the company and it’s customers
long term. We also have the advantage of being large enough
to afford the facilities, personnel and equipment necessary to do
the job right and support the growth that the future will bring.
With over 200,000 square feet of manufacturing space, Bridgewood
Custom Cabinetry is committed to being a long-term player in this
industry. Bridgewood Custom Cabinetry has control over all aspects of
building and scheduling of the product.
Products like ours have always been around, but never so
affordably. Our systems and equipment allow us to build
flexible custom products as efficiently and competitively as
most stock or semi-custom manufacturers. By prioritizing
quality and superior construction over promotion,
Bridgewood delivers choices, superior products and
custom features at a price where these options usually
don’t exist.
