I’m going to begin this year’s RCIA sessions early, in a month or two soooooo...if you are interested in participating in these “classes” call Pat
in the parish office. We’ll have an interview and then...off we go. RCIA
is the process of becoming Catholic...it’s for those who are
interested in joining the Catholic Faith, those who want to know more,
those who have been away from practicing, those just seeking a faithhome. Pray for discernment—now may be your time. Just call us.
Why I serve in the Music Ministry: All of my life, God enlightened and
applied me from the time I was 5 years old when I joined an all adult Catholic
choir, to this moment of blessing my life while I thankfully serve God eagerly,
smiling with God as His disciple of sacred music. God is a sensitive, musical
God who magnifies my life into a three fold prayer form - vocally/
instrumentally, serving/teaching others and with God’s grace when He sends
forth his unique, special nature sounds that accompany my prayers in the
morning, at noon and at night fall. Yes, this God is a wonderful, prompting
music director who guides and continues to hum His songs in my soul and so
forever will I be grateful while giving God praise and glorifying God the rest of
my musical life. ~ Jamie Price

participate in our program, every little step we take in bringing them closer to our Church is a blessing
in itself. God bless you for that.

Father Chris is away this week. He left Saturday and will return on Sunday evening, August 7th.
While he is away I will be having the weekend Masses for both weekends (30/21 and 6/7) as well as the
daily Masses (the 1st thru 5th).

For the very first time since I have been here, we have repaired the property sprinkle system. It was
still on year 2002, the month of February! (And not operating anyway, except that one time was just
starting up right as the Sunday 8:30 Mass was dismissing.) We did shut down three sections which
were a waste of water, adjusted the times on the other sections to fluctuate with need and we hope to
include a device which will make certain the system does not function when it is raining. When the
parking lot and Narthex construction begins, the final set up will be in place.

First Friday Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is this Friday, August 5 after Mass until 4:00pm. All
