Edinburgh Castle
A world famous icon of Scotland and part of the Old and New Towns of
Edinburgh UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The castle houses the Honours (Crown Jewels) of Scotland, the Stone of
Destiny, the famous 15th century gun Mons Meg (the One O' Clock Gun)
and the National War Museum of Scotland. In addition to guided tours
provided by the castle stewards, there is an audio guide tour available.
The Jacobite Room, Gatehouse Suite and Queen Anne rooms are all
available for private dining - making the Castle a perfect off-site dinner
option for up to 120 people. For larger groups of 250 to 800 people, the
whole of Edinburgh Castle can be hired for a drinks reception.
Palace of Holyroodhouse
Holyroodhouse, Her Majesty The Queen's official residence in Scotland,
stands at the end of Edinburgh's Royal Mile against the spectacular
backdrop of Arthur's Seat.
In the company of an expert guide, groups may enjoy a tour of The State
Apartments and the ruins of Holyrood Abbey. Groups can also take
advantage of the complimentary Audio Tours at the Palace. Still visited
today by the Royal Family, the State Apartments are used regularly by The
Queen for State ceremonies and official entertaining.
The Scottish National Gallery
The Scottish National Gallery is one of Scotland’s top visitor attractions. It
houses Scotland’s national collection of fine art from the early Renaissance
to the end of the nineteenth century.
Spend an hour strolling around this peaceful setting and you’ll find
masterpieces from Raphael, Velázquez and Vermeer to Monet, Cézanne
and Van Gogh. For a nation of Scotland’s size, the collection is rightfully
regarded as one of the very best in the world.

Royal Yacht Brittania
The Royal Yacht Britannia was home to Her Majesty The Queen and the

The elegant State Apartments offer off-site dining for up to 196, or drinks
receptions for up to 450.
Edinburgh Zoo
Set in 82 acres of sloping parkland, Edinburgh Zoo is situated three miles
to the west of Edinburgh city centre. Apart from getting close to over 1,000
rare and endangered animals, including the famous pair of giant pandas,
you can experience a a busy programme of activities - ranging from
keeper talks through to hands-on animal encounters.
The Mansion House at the Zoo provides an unusual but elegant dining
option and can hold up to 90 people for dinner and 150 for a drinks
reception.

present and future, with interactive exhibits and impressive technology.
Voted “Favourite Visitor Attraction in Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife” by

and Tuesdays, from November to March.
National Museum of Scotland (free admission)
This Museum houses the outstanding international collections of Decorative
Arts, Science and Industry, Archaeology and the Natural World and
contains an extraordinary range of material. Thirty-six galleries of varying
sizes present artefacts from around the globe and natural history
specimens. Open all year round.
