HISTORY.SERVICE
In 1956, Basil Smith, also known as “Smitty”, started a small machine
shop in his garage, called Rock-ett Products. Being one of the original
four wheel drive enthusiasts, his chief concern was to develop four
wheel drive equipment for trucks and small SUVs (Jeeps). Over the
years, Smitty’s son Tom worked at Rock-ett and then with the newly
named “Smittybilt”. Having been exposed to the four wheel drive
lifestyle all his life, Tom was able to create new and innovative product
ideas geared towards the growing off-road aftermarket industry.
As the business grew, Tom created more and more exciting new
products including the original “Nerf Bar” side step and tubular front
and rear bumpers for Jeeps®.
Today, Smittybilt, LLC., proudly supplies thousands of active dealers and
distributors worldwide with innovative truck and SUV accessories.
Smittybilt has expanded its product offering to over 2,000 different
products servicing the international truck and SUV markets. The
constant involvement of management in the off-road markets have kept
Smittybilt in touch with the latest market trends and on the forefront of

customize your vehicle!
• Powdercoat Sure Steps™ are pretreated with an “E-coat”
creating a rust barrier found on very few side tube steps.
Each powdercoated Sure Step™ has been tested to a
minimum 500 hour salt spray test. Our competition on a
side-by-side comparison failed at 250 hours!
• Only Smittybilt uses prime 304L stainless steel on our
stainless Sure Steps™ to ensure the best looking finish and
longest lasting side step on the market!

OF THE IMPORTANT QUALITY UPGRADES FOUND ON ALL SURE STEPS:
• All step pads are secured with five pins into a squashed step. No exposed
metal to rust or flimsy pad attachments!
• Every Sure Step™ uses powdercoat painted 3/8-1/4" steel no drill
brackets. Each bracket has been custom designed to ensure a “no
bounce” fit and ease of installation
• Smittybilt incorporates a third center bracket to further strengthen the
installation making Sure Step™ the firmest, easiest to install tube step
ever created
• All Smittybilt Sure Steps™ are custom fit to the specific vehicle
application. Unlike other brands, we do not use “generic” length tubes
with cheap brackets
WARRANTY: We back our product better than any manufacturer! While
other companies try to reduce their paint warranties, Smittybilt
maintains their 5 year limited warranty on powdercoat painted Sure
Steps™ and a limited lifetime warranty on polished stainless steel finishes

FOR THE N-FAB NERF STEP. It features a 3" main tube with an innovative fourstep or six-step drop down design with a cleated step plate. Each bar is custom
made for each application and provides one of the sturdiest attachments in the
industry. The new stainless steel bars are constructed completely of 304 Marine
Grade Stainless and come with a limited Lifetime Warranty. The drop steps are
welded on and then ground down and smooth out to provide a truly finished look.

THE RPD LIGHT BAR LINE WAS DEVELOPED
FOR THE TRUE BAJA ENTHUSIAST! Each Light Bar is
manufactured from 1.5” 120 tubing and hand
formed to exacting specifications for a truly custom fit. The
light bar is designed to accommodate three lights up to 9” in
diameter and for added strength we use extra support around
the light tab to handle the toughest conditions in Baja. For the
ultimate in protection and safety all the RPD Light Bars
require drilling for a proper installation. If you’re

The Street Bar is a quick fix
for mounting a set of lights
on the front end of your
Truck or SUV. Each “Street
Bar” is designed to follow the
contours of your factory
bumper. It comes with
either two, three, or four
light tabs depending on the
application and will
accommodate up to a 9"

SRC bumpers are engineered to provide the maximum protection without
sacrificing the ability to go anywhere off road. Each SRC Front Bumper
features a 3/16" solid plate center section that wraps and protects the frame horns and lower
cross member, which provides the ultimate protection when off roading. Each front bumper has an
integrated winch mount and is capable of holding a winch with up to a 10,000 LB
rated line pull. Both the front and rear bumpers feature a two point shackle mount
system that is welded on the outside and inside of the bumper. The 1.75" over rider
