Fisherman’s
Point Lodge
A place to enjoy nostalgic ambience,
modern day conveniences and nature’s best
all in one grand, private retreat.
Welcome to
Fisherman’s Point Lodge
Looking for a place to have your next
corporate retreat or family get together?
Consider historical Fisherman’s Point Lodge in
Crosslake, Minnesota. Originally built in 1945 by the
Wurlitzer family, this magnificent home exudes a
timeless, rustic elegance. Handsomely furnished
throughout, this lodge offers a harmonious blend of
spaciousness and warmth.
Stately Comfort
The great room has formal dining at one end, a
pool table/lounge area at the other and two stone
fireplaces in the middle. With ample space for a
large gathering, this room lends itself to small
conversation groups as well.
Relax in the Sunroom
Moving through the French doors at the south end
of the great room you will find yourself in the
serenity of the 3-season sun room. This room
offers a great space for meetings, parties or extra
sleeping.
Dine in Tonight
The well-appointed kitchen is a cook’s delight. The
many comfortable bar stools surrounding the huge
cooktop island guarantee that a crowd will gather.
Rest & Rejuvenate
A long hallway off the kitchen leads to the sleeping
area where there are 4 roomy bedrooms and 3
baths. The lodge comfortably sleeps up to 20
people.
The Apartment
If you desire a separate residence from the main
house, there is a brand new, fully furnished apartment above the garage. These quarters are perfect for a family. There is a master bedroom with
king size bed, a second bedroom and one bathroom. The apartment features vaulted ceilings,
pine log paneling, air conditioning, a full kitchen
and a washer and dryer. Apartment dwellers won’t
miss out on the panoramic lake view because it’s
fully visible from these upstairs windows.
The Great Outdoors
As you step outside you’ll find the property has
nearly two acres of private, well-maintained
grounds to explore. The yard is lush with mature
shade trees. Shady groves and sunny patios
provide ample room for relaxing.
Build a Campfire
A new stone walkway invites you to the firepit patio
. . . the perfect spot for roasting marshmallows and
watching the boats go by.
The Restorative Powers
of the Lake
The crowning feature of this place is fabulous
Cross Lake. Fisherman’s Point Lodge boasts 237
feet of sandy lakeshore. Enjoy sunbathing on the
comfortable dock and swimming in the clear
waters of the lake. A massive dock (5 feet wide
with a 20 x 20 foot platform patio) stands ready for
your use. Bring your own boat and shelter it in the
boatlift. Cruise the Whitefish Chain of lakes and
enjoy lakeside eateries amidst the natural scenery.
