Danson Park is a very popular public open space in Kent, with restaurants, children’s outdoor play areas, car
parks and sports fields. The project involved the replacement of the existing asphalt roof to the sports pavilion
and its replacement with a Langley Waterproofing high performance felt system. Over 60 domed rooflights were
renewed and other works included concrete repairs, re-decoration and the replacement of the steel framed windows with PVCu double glazed units. The works had to be sensitively programmed to be completed within the
Client’s financial year and to avoid disruption to the users of the site.
