The Professional Footballers
Association of Ghana was set up
out of a conviction that UNITED
we MUST improve the working
conditions of Ghanaian
footballers. Three years on, PFAG
has made a positive impact.
We have expanded our database
of professionals by 80 percent
since 2012, organized off season
training camps and are close to
finalizing pensions and insurance
schemes for members.
With the right levels of support, we
are on the path to establishing a
pension fund, a nationally
recognized awards ceremony
voted on by the players, an
effective insurance policy and an
education scholarship program for
interested members among others.
The senior National Team, the Black
Stars continue to enhance Ghana’s
football image after three
consecutive World Cup berths.
The local Black Stars, proudly
coached by a Ghanaian and
incidentally the President of the
association, excelled at the 2014
CHAN competition reaching the
final. The local league and FA Cup
competitions have benefited from
major corporate backing and will
continue to receive the PFAG’s full
support.
