WHAT IS THE CARIBBEAN GIRLS LEGACY CUP
Developed as a Legacy to the 2010 FIFA Under 17 Women’s
World Cup hosted by the Trinidad and Tobago Football
Federation
Annually bringing International Girls teams to T*T to
compete, raise competition levels in the Caribbean, and
celebrate the culture and sights of the islands.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT
Under 15/16 Division
Under 17/18 Division
Groups of 4 : Round Robin play to advance to Quarterfinals
Friendlies on Friday for teams not advancing
Finals on Saturday morning- allows for day excursions or
afternoon departures

Caribbean teams from other islands
Venezuelan and Colombian invites
Maximum of 4 US based teams per division
T+T Youth National pool teams based
International calendars- likely playing “up”

MATCH LOCATIONS
Group Play will be at University and High School
Facilities in Trinidad with the Quarterfinal,
Semifinals and Finals in the national stadiumsLocations of the World Cup matches and the
professional and national teams of Trinidad and Tobago.
LODGING OPTIONS
In the Greater Port of Spain area
All have internet and meals onsite
Cascadia Hotel: up to 4 teams
Multiple Guest House/ Bed and Breakfasts- hold 1
– 2 team each

All rooms are equipped with, air conditioning,
cable television, telephone, bath, refrigerator,

WEDNESDAY MARACAS BEACH PARTY
AND OPENING CEREMONIES
After the first day of matches, all the teams will come
together for an afternoon on the beach, opening
ceremonies, music, dancing, and a one of a kind Beach
Barbecue- Trini style!
