AN EDGE FOR EDUCATORS AND STUDENTS
WinEst is an active and engaged partner with colleges and universities in supporting the educational pursuits of future A/E/C-industry professionals with the latest in
real-world software applications. WinEst is proud to make our industry-leading software
technology available, at no cost, to construction-estimating students throughout the
United States and Canada.
College-level construction-program instructors are encouraged to take advantage of
WinEst’s PIE (Partners in Education) program to provide the latest, state-of-the-art
construction-estimating software technology to their students.
Instructors interested in participating in the
PIE program can contact PIE Director Tina
Ruth at the phone number or e-mail address
listed below. Once approved, PIE members will receive the most current academic
version of WinEst’s ProPlus software, for
which the usual and customary fees will
be waived. Participants are also eligible to
receive free updates to the software when
they are released. Additionally, one professor
per school is allowed to attend a scheduled
open-enrollment WinEst educational course
(one training seminar per school year, space
permitting).

• The academic-participation license expires
on August 1st following the date of activation and can be renewed annually with a
phone call or email request.
• Academic participation license may be
approved only for WinEst databases and
integrators (including Takeoff).
