The Silk Essence Collection
features 5 beautiful patterns
using our new Silk Essence
Yarn. All patterns but one are 1
skein projects.
The Sun and Sand Collection
has the two patterns: Cable
Sun and Sand, and Garter
Sun and Sand, both using
Ensemble Light.

We import Italian cashmere and merino wools, Japanese silk and mohair, and Murano glass
beads. Our couture yarns are custom plied and hand-painted in New York.
Artyarns inspires creativity through the intriguing combination of unique fibers and a palette
of fashion forward colors. Artyarns was founded by Iris Schreier, a noted knitting author, who
creates the palettes and fibers. She designs new garments and writes patterns on a regular
basis. Her newest book, One + One: Hats (Lark, 2012) was published in November 2012 and
feataures 30+ patterns using only 2 skeins of Artyarns.
