Martyrdom is still a very real thing. The 8 believers above were
crucified in Iraq for professing Christ in July 2014. STILL hundreds of
people die for their faith in Christ world wide daily: DAILY.
HUNDREDS. DIE. I must ask how we, as American believers, dare
struggle with the concept of giving up our "rights" to our own life
for the sake of Christ. It is preposterous when our brothers and
sisters are faithful unto death in other countries simply because
they profess Christ! Church, family, friends; we must remind
ourselves so we can remain sober minded and not drunk on our
liberty given to us by our secular rights in our American culture.
Christianity is about servitude and laying down your own life for
the sake of Christ. May we never forget this… Let our LIFE always
be that of Paul’s statement to the Corinthian church, “But [like a
boxer] I buffet my body [handle it roughly, discipline it by
hardships] and subdue it, for fear that after proclaiming to others
the Gospel and things pertaining to it, I myself should become unfit
[not stand the test, be unapproved and rejected as a counterfeit].”

LaPoff! Ministering in
music and in the Word the
LaPoff’s take the message of Jesus to American’s 5.5 million
Jewish citizens. He is president of One Day Ministries and Rock
Of Israel Ministries. Also, he is the Associate Congregational
Leader at the Congregation Beth Sar Shalom in Tuscon, Arizona,
where he currently resides. Rabbi LaPoff, and his wife, brings
Jesus to people in a way that is
relatable to the Jewish
culture in which all our
Christian roots sprout
from. They also bring
that same Messiah
to the gentile
culture with great
effect!
