（1）In the engine compartment, locate the ignition coil. Find both
the negative and the positive side of the ignition coil wires.
Advice
・As DLI engines have multiple ignition coil packs, make sure that
wires are attached at a location that is the easiest to get to.
（2）Mount the Twin Power unit temporarily.Make sure the wires will
reach the ignition coils.

Advice
・Choose an area away from moisture.
・If the connector harness is too long, cut it to the appropriate
length.
・For DLI engines with two ignition coil packs, connect only two
yellow wires. For three ignition coil packs, connect three
yellow wires etc.
・Any un-used yellow wires should be secured with electrical tape
to prevent any damage to the vehicle or the Twin Power unit.
（3）Using a splice connector, connect the red wire of the connector
harness to the positive side of the ignition coil wire.
（4）Using a splice connector, connect the yellow wire(s) of the connector
harness to the negative side of the ignition coil wire(s) that lead
to the igniter.
Advice
・For Rotary engines, connect the white wire of the
connector harness to the negative side of the leading
coil wire. Connect the yellow wires of the connector
harness to the negative side of each trailing coil wire.
（5）Connect the black wire to a chassis ground.
Advice
・Make sure there is no rust or paint on the ground surface.
Connect the ground wire to a screw attached to the metal
parts on the chassis. Do not connect the wire to a bolt to
mount the Twin Power unit.
（6）Connect the Twin Power unit with the connector harness.

Wiring for TYPE-DLIⅡ and TYPE-DLIⅡROTARY
(1)Use an appropriate Vehicle Specific wiring harness. Also,for
wiring,refer to the instruction attached to the harness.
Advice
・Do not bend the harness.It may damage internal electric parts
of harnesses.
・Connect the ground wire to a screw attached to the metal parts
on the chassis.Do not connect the wire to a bolt to mount the
Twin Power unit.

(1)Strip the cover of wires from a vehicle.
(2)Connect the uncovered wires with wires from Twin Power.
(3)Use Splice Connectors to connect these wires.
(4)Cover the connector and wires with plastic tape to insulate.

(2)Reconnect the negative battery cable to the battery.
*When you start the vehicle, verify that the red light on the
Twin Power unit illuminates.
*If the vehicle does not start, hesitates or stalls:
●Reconfirm wire connections.
●Check for continuity at each splice connector.

５．
After installation
(1)Use M6 bolts & nuts to mount the unit.
(2)Use tie wraps to tie up harnesses.
Advice
・Wires which are connected by spice connectors may be
disconnected by vibration during driving. So, please attach
those wires to the appropriate places.
