Who We Are
Mission
The mission of Central Arkansas Pride is to raise awareness of diversity in the community and,
through celebration and education, recognize the positive contributions of the Lesbian, Gay,
Bisexual and Transgender community in Arkansas, teach tolerance and acceptance, eliminate
prejudice and bias both internally and externally, and honor our sexuality, our culture, our families,
our accomplishments, our individuality, and our ongoing struggle for equal rights.
Our Programs
Little Rock Pride Fest: A weekend long celebration including Pride parties at local bars, the Pride
parade, and a Pride fest complete with live entertainment, vendors, and a kid’s zone.
LGBT Youth Scholarship: We offer several $500 scholarships awarded to graduating high school
seniors and current college students.
Community Events: Various events throughout the year designed to create a strong sense of
community:

 Pride Pool Party
 Pride Trolley Party
 Miss Gay Pride
 Kaleidoscope Film Festival
Education: Events that are designed to educate people about various LGBT issues. This often
includes partnering with other local LGBT organizations.
