Amaron signs 1-year deal with Alpinestars

MUMBAI: International race wear manufacturer Alpinestars is now the official team-wear of the Amaron pro racing team.
Amaron has negotiated with Meco motorsports which is the official distributor of Alpinestars Racewear for India to provide the Amaron team with
Alpinestars race wear. “Amaron Pro Racing has been actively following the strategy of getting sponsorships with the top brands in motorsports which is utilised in getting
advanced international equipments for the team in order to enhance the performance of the team. Our deal with Alpinestars is one such initiative,”
said Amaron Pro Racing head – Motorsport Mackinlay Barreto.
The one year deal will see Alpinestars providing the entire racing suits, shoes, jackets, gloves to the Amaron team during their karting and racing
events. Talking about the financial aspect of the deal, Barretto said, "The deal would cost us around 3.5 lakhs (Rs 350,000)." "As part of the barter deal, Amaron will be providing a branding platform to Alpinestars at the race events such as Formula Roll on & Rotax Max
Karting Challenge through banners stalls etc. However, we would like to focus on Amaron Karting Challenge as an appropriate platform for the
promotion of the brand. The reason being, Alpinestars is a well known name amongst the racing community, involved at the Roll on and Rotax level.
However, a property like Amaron Karting Challenge would be a better stage because it involves higher number of motorsports enthusiasts who are
new to the sport,” says Barreto. This deal will be an advantage to both Alpinestars as well as Amaron. “For the brand, it will help to promote the race wear at the phase when we all

know that India would be hosting the Formula 1 next year,” said Barreto.
“Alpinestars is one of the leading brands of race wear manufacturers which provides team wear to Formula 1, Nascar and other Grand Prix. For
Amaron, associating with the brand is like a feather in our cap,” he adds.
