The residents, staff, and
administration of the Goodwill
Retirement Community wish to
thank the many generous individuals and organizations who shared
the spirit of Christmas with us
through time, talents, and gifts.
We are touched each year by the
desire of the surrounding community to “bring Christmas” to the
halls of Goodwill and to the
hearts of our residents and
staff. Thank you to all who
have blessed us in so many
ways this Christmas season!
Christmas Preparations
A Christmas Bazaar was
enjoyed by residents,
staff, and local venders.
Thank you to all who were
involved in bringing this
event to Goodwill!
Family members, Staff, Youth
from local schools and churches
decorated the resident’s doors
for all to enjoy.

Santa & his helper brought
smiles to many faces as
they passed out a small gift
for each resident. Thanks
Santa for the visit!
Some seemed
to think that
Santa looked
very familiar.
Santa & his helper took a break to enjoy
some special harmonica music by Alina.

Celebrating Christmas
Christmas brings out the childlike spirit
of all ages. Hubert Friend, our senior
resident at 104 years old, celebrated with
his daughter. His lighted hat and singing
tie brought smiles and laughter to staff
and residents.
Singing Christmas Carols brought back
pleasant memories to Gypsy Lane as she sang
and cuddled her baby by candle light.
Santa’s visit was not only enjoyed by residents but
also staff. Even Dr. Bissell got a hug from Santa!
Students from the
Northern HS FFA
brought red & white
poinsettias to share with
the residents of Goodwill. The plant were
grown by the students.
