MICROSCOPES FOR A WORTHY
CAUSE
The Peruvian Children’s Fund located in Lowell, MA is a
humanitarian non-profit organization with a focus on children’s
health in central Peru. The fund, under the leadership of Dr.
John Wang, has embarked on a mission to help save the lives
of young children living high up in the lofty Andean mountains

Families can begin filing the
FAFSA starting January 1st.
Be aware of your colleges
Financial Aid deadlines.
The FAFSA and any other
required paperwork must be
submitted by your school’s

may not be awarded.
Diploma Name Verification Forms
will be filled out by seniors during December.
Please discuss the name you would like to appear

Seniors should be finalizing their list of colleges and updating their list in their Naviance account. Seniors should meet with their

Seniors need to check their college
what materials are required for their
admission requirements to know
application.

Guidelines for Students
1. Parents must notify the office by phone prior to the exam that a student is ill or a family emergency exists. A written note that specifies the nature of the illness
or emergency should be brought to the office upon the student's return to school.
2. Students who arrive late to school should report to the office for an admittance slip. Teachers will not allow students to enter an exam without a pass.
3. Students who arrive ten (10) minutes or more late to school/class during exams may be allowed to enter the exam at the discretion of the teacher.
4. No student will be allowed to leave a learning center because of the potential for disruption to exams. Teachers will be in learning centers.
5. Students will be expected to make up an exam on the same day of tardiness unless a teacher instructs otherwise.
6. In case school is cancelled, the exam schedule will follow the same sequence.
7. Students should leave all materials at the back of the classroom so that there will be no question about cheating.
8. Students are expected to stay out of the academic areas where exams are being held. If students arrive early, they should report to the cafeteria.
9. Students will be expected to remain quiet and in the classroom until the end of the exam period.
10. On Thursday and Friday students are required to report to their exams only. Students are required to be in attendance during scheduled exam time for all credited
classes. Buses will run at the regular time (1:57 pm) Thursday and Friday.
