the field coming from outside the country every year, it truly is the world’s most

ROMAN RUDNYTSKY – CONCERT PIANIST
An American concert pianist of Ukrainian background,Roman Rudnytsky is a
graduate of the famous Juilliard School in New York. One of the most well-travelled
concert pianists in the world, this is his 15th tour of New Zealand featuring works
by Haydn, Rachmaninoff, Debussy, Liszt, and others.

The Great Lake Centre will still have the Ticketek box office open for an hour before events for last
minute tickets.

Taupō Museum
Russell has worked in many mediums but has a great love for the
special qualities that oil paint offers. The exhibition features central
North Island landscapes including the Taupō and Rotorua areas.

IHC Extend Amazing Race
Cenotaph and Tongariro
South Domain
All ages – teams of 2-5 persons ($10 per team). This is on foot,
around town and will finish with a picnic in the park and prizegiving at
the Tongariro South Domain. The Pumice Valley Whoopie (Ukulele)
Band will be playing from 12.30pm to 2pm. Registrations from
9.15am at the Cenotaph, the race begins at 10am.

Lyrical Waxing
Taupō Museum
These exquisite batik wall hangings created by Ann Hay of
Taumaranui feature birds, animals and farming scenes. Few others
use Ann’s batik method and her works have won two art awards
since her last exhibition at Taupō Museum.

colleges and organised by Sport Waikato, starts at 9am. Students
will compete in track and field events with the aim of qualifying for the
Waikato/Bay of Plenty Championships.
