Red
Square has taken the clubs by storm. Four seasoned musicians with
over 25yrs of playing and performing experience has turned the music scene
inside out. Their wide variety of rock, rhythm and soul is a dynamic show worth
watching and listening to. With a tremendous following and style and energy
that is untiring, every venue that has invited Red Square, has asked them
back several times over.
Four incredibly talented musicians have put together a diverse set list of covers
that not only span FOUR DECADES, but also include songs from a variety of
artists such as The Police, Lady Gaga, Coldplay, The Killers, Rhianna, Michael
Jackson, Gotye, Travis McCoy, Queen, and many more. From pop to rock to
hair bands to hip-hop, we can easily tailor our set list to match just about any
club’s audience. Red Square is no newcomer to the club scene, playing all
over the Boston scene as well as many eastern Massachusetts bars; they have quickly gained the respect of
their fellow musicians and fans alike. Members of Red Square are award-winning musicians, many whom
have played nationally and recorded several independent albums.
The Band:
Jason Brandenburg:
- lead vocals + sax + trumpet A self taught saxophonist and percussionist, Jason’s been singing since he can remember. His influences are varied, from
Stevie Ray Vaughn, Lennon/McCartney, Phil Collins, and Dave Gilmour, to Bobby Darin and George Michael. His award
winning vocal styles and range are as dynamic as they are rich.
Haril Pandya:
- guitar + vocals Haril has been playing guitar for over 20 years. Drawing from his love of Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughn to his love
of Indian classical music, Haril focuses on blending eastern rhythm, western blues and rock throughout his playing style.
Matt Johnson:
- drums + triggers Matt has been playing drums for over 18yrs. He is a Berklee College of Music legend and multi-award winning drummer.
While his chops and ability are mastery, he can out-rock them all!
Brian Burr:
- bass + bass +more bass Brian holds us all together. His understanding of groove and rhythm is a true compliment to the drums and guitar. From
Rock to Funk and Metal, Brian’s great talent for bass is the true undercurrent for Red Square.
