Girls will enhance their product knowledge as they reinforce their familiarity with the cookie
box colors. Plus - they will gain some marketing skills, as they put together costumes that could be
worn at booth sales, after the rally, to draw attention and attract customers to their cookie booths.
Come dressed to party - cookie style!
Put on your cookie colored party clothes and
accessories and join the birthday bash. Invite
girls to dress in their favorite cookie color to
participate it a Cookie Spirit Contest. Or keep the
spot light on the Samoas and ask everyone to
dress in purple for a “Samoas Spirit Contest . At
the closing group gathering, award certificates
and /or prizes to participants and/or winners.
Supplies
Cookie Spirit Certificates (art included in following pages)
Optional - prizes for winners or participants.
Instructions
Invite girls to participate in the Cookie Spirit Contest in the
pre-rally announcements and registration materials.
Announce prizes for winners and/or participants to encourage participation. (Prizes could be a box of cookies, cookie
dough bucks for the shop or other fun items).
Recognize participants with a parade of costumes at the rally
wrap-up, just before announcing the winners and awarding their
certificates and/or prizes.
Ideas:
Invite girls to dress in their favorite cookie box color, and
award a certificate for the winner in each cookie category. Be
sure to include pictures of the cookie boxes and the cookie
characters in your contest annoucement to help inspire dress.
Make it a Samoas Bash themed contest, and ask everyone
to dress in a Samoas themed outfit. Award certificates or
prizes to ”Most Original”, “Most in Character”, “Purple Power”,
or “Best Birthday Spirit”
In addition to acknowledging winners, include all participants names in a prize drawing - and draw two or three
winners.
