Route 56 Family Day at Hyak Sno-Park (Snoqualmie Pass) Saturday, January 30, 9am until ??? (yes, this IS a family event) The Hyak Sno-Park is a fairly popular tubing destination, so you should plan on arriving at 9am or earlier to make sure you get a parking spot. Pastor Rich will have his cell phone on just in case you need to call him 206.412.3838.
****Due to the nature of this event, parents (or guardian) need to plan on driving (or carpooling) and providing supervision for the day**** We’ll have a “Base Tent” set up in the parking lot under a canopy if you’d like to bring some hot chocolate (we’ll have hot water) and other snacks. ☺ Directions to the Hyak SnoPark at Snoqualmie Pass:
I-90 Eastbound to Exit 54. Turn right at the bottom of the off-ramp and then left at the first intersection. Go about 1/8 mile and Sno-park is on first right. Cost: $30 per VEHICLE, but just $20 if you already have a Discover Pass (yep, that’s ALL so pack your vehicle FULL). There is a place on-site to purchase the Daily Sno-Park/One-Day Discover Pass. Other Info: Bring a sled/tube/toboggan of your own, but it CANNOT have metal runners as they are not allowed on the hill. There is also an area where tweens, friends, siblings and parents can just “play in the snow” if sledding and tubing is not your thing. * Don’t let a lack of snow clothes keep you from coming! Email Ms. Christy ([email protected]) ASAP as we have some snow clothes we can loan out. Tubing Area!
