Neumann U87
The Neumann U 87 is arguably the best known and most widely used studio microphone in the world
(for good reason). The U 87 Ai condenser microphone is a large diaphragm microphone with three polar
patterns and a unique frequency and transient response characteristic. A distinctive design and legendary
Neumann sound make this mic a must-have for pro studios. The U 87 is known for its unique frequency
and transient response characteristics which deliver a smooth natural sound with a variety of source
material.
Shure SM7B
The SM7B dynamic microphone has a smooth, flat, wide-range frequency response appropriate for music
and speech in all professional audio applications. It features excellent shielding against electromagnetic
hum generated by computer monitors, neon lights, and other electrical devices.
The SM7B has been updated from earlier models with an improved bracket design that offers greater
stability. In addition to its standard windscreen, it also includes the A7WS windscreen for close-talk
applications.
AKG C451 B
The C451 B is a reference small-diaphragm condenser microphone. With its airy sound, high overload
limit and improved engineering details, the C451 B continues the success story of its predecessor, the
legendary C451 EB + CK1 capsule. The roadworthy design around the hand crafted capsule and the lownoise pre-amp electronics ensure impressive results even under very harsh conditions.

CONSOLE
The centre of FSG Studio is an Allen Heath Qu-24 mixing console, with its responsive touchscreen, 25
motor faders and acclaimed AnalogiQ recallable preamps, Qu-24 combines exceptional ease of use with
class-leading audio performance. FSG Studio operates Protools with a Mac Pro computer.
MONITORS
Dynaudio BM6A
The BM 6A features an electronic 4th order phase-aligned crossover with a crossover point at 2.2kHz,
which feeds two high performance discrete MOSFET amplifiers rated at 100W each.
The low frequency section is driven by a low frequency equalizer offering a choice between extended,
critical damped response or more conventional higher Qt response for more level but less low frequency
output. Included in the electronics is a complex protection circuit, which helps to prevent accidental
damage to the drivers, yet still providing maximum transient response.
The BM 6A is housed with an elegant matte cabinet with radius edged construction on the front baffle to
reduce boundary effects and improve overall sound quality.
