Aquaphor New York City Triathlon 2012
The Boomer Esiason Foundation is proud to be among the New York Road Runners’ official charity
partners for the 2012 Aquaphor New York City Triathlon, to be held on Sunday, July 8.
The Foundation will provide guaranteed triathlon entries to six individuals and three relay teams who
pledge to raise funds for the Foundation. The athletes who participate on behalf of BEF will receive
fundraising guidance as well as extensive pre-race and race day support.
The Aquaphor New York City Triathlon is an Olympic Distance race consisting of a 1500m swim, a 40k
bike, and a 10k run. Each year, more than 3,000 athletes brave the waters of the mighty Hudson River
before biking along Manhattan’s West Side highway. Finally, athletes put on their running shoes for a
run through New York’s famed Central Park.
Boomer’s Cystic Fibrosis Run to Breathe 2012
The New York Road Runners have opened registration for the Second Annual Boomer’s Cystic Fibrosis
Run to Breathe. The 10K run-walk will be held Saturday, July 21 in New York City’s Central Park and
is open to runners at all levels. Participation in this event will be capped and is expected it to sell out.
Bank of America Chicago Marathon 2012
The Boomer Esiason Foundation is proud to be among the official charity partners for the venerable
2012 Bank of America Chicago Marathon to be held on Sunday, October 7.
The Foundation will provide guaranteed entries for the 2012 Chicago Marathon to 10 runners who
pledge to raise funds for the Foundation. The runners who participate on behalf of BEF will receive
fundraising guidance as well as pre-race and race day support.
ING New York City Marathon 2012
The Boomer Esiason Foundation is proud to be among the New York Road Runners’ official charity
partners for the 2012 ING New York City Marathon to be held on Sunday, November 4.
For the fourth year in a row, the Foundation will provide guaranteed marathon entries to runners who
pledge to raise funds for the Foundation.
The 120 runners who participate on behalf of BEF will receive fundraising guidance as well as
extensive pre-race and race day support.
