What can I expect to gain from DPOS?
How do I link into my current systems?
DPOS offers fast, user-friendly, reliable and feature-rich
operation at the point of sale. Capable of running standalone
or as part of multi terminal / back office network. A full range
of reports provide detailed information including hourly
trends, individual item sales and cashier performance.
The software allows the importing of products from
elsewhere when the system is first initialised. Datasym’s
back office applications use Crystal Reports for reporting,
allowing export to CSV, Excel, Word, and PDF from any
report. Specific export and import routines can be
developed for other more specialised applications. Sage
Line 50 is available at an additional module cost.
What can I expect to gain from Stockade?
More detailed sales reporting than available within the DPOS
product, real-time sales views, and comprehensive stock
management. Stockade provides a wide range of information
for every business regardless of size and structure.
Can I use my existing network?
Datasym.PoS and Stockade can run on any Windowsbased network. They use peer to peer networking for local
linking of terminals and IP protocol for multi branch
communications thus allowing the fixed cost and high
speed of broadband to be utilised.
What happens in the future?
Datasym and Toshiba are continually
developing and improving their products.
