Membership Categories
PROFESSIONAL
In order to join WCREW, you must meet the following
prerequisites:
• An applicant for membership must have been actively
engaged for at least three (3) years in commercial real estate,
or in an industry or field that supports the commercial real
estate industry.
• At least 80% of the members shall be actively engaged in
one or more of the following disciplines within the field of
commercial real estate:

Advancing the success of women in commercial real estate in Wisconsin since 1998
ASSOCIATE
A limited number of Associate Memberships are available to
allow otherwise non-qualifying applicants to obtain a WCREW
membership, provided they meet the following criteria/
standards:
• An applicant must have a minimum of 6 months
experience in the commercial real estate industry.
• The Associate Member must serve and actively
participate on a committee of their choice for at least
two years. This participation will be verified by the
committee chair.
• The Associate Member must attend a minimum of 50%
of WCREW organized events during a 12-month period.
• The Associate Member will undergo an annual
review of these criteria/standards each year to
obtain membership renewal and advancement to full
membership with voting rights.
• Associate Membership will be limited to not more than
10% of total membership each year.

RETIRED
WCREW Network member no longer working full time,
but who wants to remain involved in the chapter and
connected to members. (Professions: Previously qualified

Statement of Purpose
Wisconsin Commercial Real Estate Women, Inc. (WCREW) was established in 1998 as a
not-for-profit corporation to recognize professional women in the field of commercial real estate.
WCREW provides a forum for networking and sharing of professional resources.
Membership Application Eligibility Guidelines
1. An applicant for membership must have been actively engaged for at least three (3) years
in commercial real estate, or in an industry or field that supports the commercial real
estate industry.
2. Other Membership Categories Available: Associate, Civic, Retired, and Student (See
www.wcrew.org for information on each category.)
3. At least 80% of the Members shall be actively engaged in one or more of the following

Committee Preference: WCREW encourages all new members to become involved in a committee. Please

Finance – Monitors finances, prepares financial statements and sets the annual budget.
Membership Benefits – Solicits new members for WCREW and works to enhance membership
satisfaction.
Communication and Editorial Advisory – Provides editorial guidance for WCREW website,
quarterly newsletter (“WNEWS”) and manages WCREW’s public relations and marketing
efforts
Program – Creates interesting and educational programs and events that encourage networking
opportunities and the growth of WCREW.
Showcase Awards – Plans the Real Estate Development Showcase Awards Ceremony, the
signature annual event of WCREW.
Sponsorship – Maintains contact with potential sponsors throughout the year and
works to optimize exposure and further the WCREW brand in the industry using a campaign
designed to offer a variety of sponsorship options with maximum return.
Golf – Create an annual Golf Outing that encourages all level of golfers to attend and provides
networking and new member opportunities

*includes $180.00 annual dues for membership in the National CREW Network.

Memberships in WCREW are individual (vs. corporate) and are approved based on the individuals’
experience and expertise, therefore, memberships are not transferrable.
Membership dues are also non-refundable.
Dues are not tax deductible, but may be deductible as a business expense.
Your payment will not be processed until the Board has approved your Membership Application.
You will be notified as to the status of your Membership Application after the next Board meeting.
