The tarpaulin central locking system designed by Fliegl is robust, long-lasting and
saves time – up to 83% when opening and closing the cover. Its mechanism is free
of sensitive hydraulic or pneumatic parts, low maintenance and not susceptible to
damage. Quick Lock optimizes the aerodynamics – CO2 emissions are reduced and
fuel consumption is cut by up to 4%.
Thanks to the level surface of the tarpaulin without any protruding fastening buckles the air resistance of the trailer is reduced.
Quick Lock from Fliegl, is the solution for curtain sided semi-trailers that
are operating under heavy time pressure and need regular loading and
unloading, requiring that the tarpaulin be frequently opened and closed.

The principle: A shaft with hooks is mounted under the loading platform. Loops in the tarpaulin are simply
hooked up, then the shaft is rotated and the hooks pull the loops downwards tensioning the tarpaulin.
By turning in the opposite direction all the loops fall out of the hooks and the tarpaulin is then free to be
moved.

Fliegl‘s certificated stanchion system consists of stanchions that can be
moved sideways and set, for example, to the width of steel mats. Apart from
the stanchions, three portals secure the load against sliding backwards
