Are Homosexuals
Born That Way?

“While it is true that the seed of original sin
carries with it every type of deviation, aberration,
perversion, and wrongdoing, the homosexual
cannot claim to have been born that way any
more than the drunkard, gambler, killer, etc.”
OTHER WARNINGS
Paul makes two more references to homosexual
practices in other Epistles. Both occur in lists of banned
activities and strike the same condemnatory note. In I Corinthians 6:9, practicing homosexuals are included among
the unrighteous who will not inherit the Kingdom of God;
however, Paul then adds a redemptive note, saying, “And
such were some of you” (I Cor. 6:11). In other words, the
Lord Saved these once practicing homosexuals, cleansing them of their sin, and made them new creations in
Christ Jesus.
The idea is, as should be obvious, that the Lord does
not save in sin, but from sin.
A newsman asked me once if God would save homosexuals. My answer to him was very clear and concise:
“Yes, God will save homosexuals, or anyone who comes to Him
for that matter. Actually, that is the very reason Jesus came and
died on Calvary.”
“However,” I quickly added, “But that means they will
have to give up their sin of homosexuality, just as the drunkard
gives up his drink,” etc.
In I Timothy 1:10, Paul again speaks of the sin of
homosexuality, and by inference, declares the lost condition of those who practice this sin as well as other sins.
It has been suggested that the meaning of “arsenikoites” in I Corinthians 6:9 and I Timothy 1:10 may
be restricted to that of “male prostitute.” However, Greek
linguistic evidence to support this view is lacking.
It is beyond reasonable doubt that Paul intended to

condemn homosexual conduct in any capacity, but not
homosexual people. As Creator, Law-giver, and King,
the Lord’s condemnation of such behavior is absolutely
plain, but yet He loves the sinner.
Following are some questions respecting homosexuality with some answers, which hopefully will be helpful.
ARE HOMOSEXUALS BORN THAT WAY?
In a word, “No!”
While it is true that the seed of original sin carries
with it every type of deviation, aberration, perversion,
and wrongdoing, the homosexual cannot claim to have
been born that way any more than the drunkard, gambler, killer, etc. However, I think it correct to say that the
gene pool which constitutes the character and personality
make up of every individual is more predisposed toward
some aberrations in certain persons than others. In the
spiritual sense, the perverted or abnormal number of
genes in any particular direction is not the cause of these
situations, but rather the results. The genes are that way
because of man’s fallen condition in a spiritual sense. So,
even if scientists one day can find a way to control the
genes, the problem will still not be solved, because that
which feeds the genes, which is the soul and the spirit of
man, cannot be changed by medical or psychological
procedures, but only by the Power of God. It is called
the New Birth, and is referred to in the Word of God as
“Regeneration.” The actual Passage says, “Not by works of
Righteousness which we have done, but according to His Mercy
He Saved us, by the washing of Regeneration and renewing
of the Holy Spirit” (Titus 3:5).
The word “Regeneration” in the Greek Text is
“Plaiggenesia,” and means “once more or again,” in other
words, “re-gened.”
The Lord Jesus Christ and Him Alone can change the
person, i.e., “Re-gene the individual, hence, Regeneration.”
To further prove the point, when identical twins are
born, the gene pool is identical, at least to a greater degree,
in these twins. At times one has become a homosexual,

Rev., Chpts. 19-20)
. . . in the Blessed Hope — the Rapture of the Church at
Christ’s Coming. (I Thess. 4:13-18)
. . . the only means of being cleansed from sin is through
Repentance and Faith in the Precious Blood of Christ.
(Rom. 5:1; Eph. 2:8-9, 13-18)
. . . Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential
for personal Salvation. (Jn. 3:5-8; Titus 3:5)
. . . the Redemptive Work of Christ on the Cross provides
Healing of the human body in answer to believing
prayer. (Ex. 15:25-26; James 5:14-15; I Pet. 2:24)
. . . the Baptism with the Holy Spirit according to Acts 2:4
is given to Believers who ask for it. (Acts 2:4; 10:44-46;
19:1-7)
. . . in the Sanctifying Power of the Holy Spirit by Whose
indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
(Rom. 6:3-14; 8:1-2, 11)
. . . in the Resurrection of both the saved and the lost: the
one to Everlasting Life and the other to everlasting
damnation. (Rev. 20:5-6, 11-15)
THE PRICELESS CORNER
We have set aside this corner of the Evangelist to
show God’s Plan of Salvation. If you are unsure where
you will go when you die, please listen to what God has
said in His Word:
First . . . God loves you!
“For God so loved the world that he gave His only
Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should
not perish, but have Everlasting Life” (Jn. 3:16).
while the other one did not. If, in fact, they were born that way, if one was homosexual, the other would be likewise. The very fact that both seldom turn out
to be that way proves that they are not born in that manner.
Again we stated, that even though there are greater propensities toward
certain proclivities in some people than in others, does not mean the thing is
set in concrete, but only that there is a lean toward a certain direction. In fact,
the Lord does not condemn the sinner for what he is, but rather for refusing to
accept God’s Way out of the situation, which is the Salvation afforded by Christ
at Calvary. That goes for every sinner, homosexuals included!
“For there is not a just man upon Earth, that doeth
good and sinneth not” (Eccl. 7:20).
“For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of
God” (Rom. 3:23).
Third . . . Jesus Christ is the only remedy for
sin!
“For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just
for the unjust, that He might bring us to God . . .” (I Pet.
3:18).
“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there
is none other name under Heaven given among men,
whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).
Fourth . . . you must receive Jesus Christ as
your personal lord and saviour.
WILL GOD SAVE HOMOSEXUALS?
Actually, this is a question we have already answered.
Yes, the Lord will save homosexuals, or anyone who comes to Him, irrespective
as to who or what they may be. That is the very reason Jesus came to this world,
“to save sinners” (I Cor. 6:9-12).
However, the homosexual, upon coming to Christ, must abandon the
former lifestyle immediately, and that goes for the drunk, gambler, or anyone
for that matter.
When a person comes to Christ, he leaves something (the old lifestyle), and
comes to something, and more particularly to someone, the Lord Jesus Christ. As
such, we take upon ourselves, and by His Help, His Lifestyle.
WILL PSYCHOLOGICAL COUNSELING HELP THE HOMOSEXUAL?
Biblical Counseling will help, but not Psychological Counseling. The problem
is Spiritual, and the Bible alone deals with such.
Biblical Counseling will simply direct the person to the Lord Jesus Christ and
the price that He paid at Calvary, so that one may be Saved. It must be understood, that Jesus atoned for every sin at the Cross. This means that Satan and

Second . . . Man is a sinner, and sin has separated him from God!
Jesus calls this experience the “new birth.” He told
Nicodemus: “. . . Except a man be born again, he cannot
see the Kingdom of God” (Jn. 3:3).
We invite you now to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as
your personal Saviour. “But as many as received Him, to
them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to
them that believe on His Name” (Jn. 1:12).
Pray this prayer and mean it with all of your heart:
Dear Lord Jesus, I now realize that I am a sinner. I
accept the fact that You died for me on the rugged Cross
of Calvary. I now open my heart’s door and receive You
as Saviour and Lord of my life. Please take full control of
me and help me to be the kind of Christian You want me
to be. Amen.

all of his cohorts of darkness were defeated at Calvary
(Col. 2:14-15). Sin is that which gives Satan the legal right
to hold man in bondage. With all sin atoned, he has no
more right to do such.
That being the case, how is it that he keeps most of
the world in bondage?
He does such simply because men will not take
advantage of what Christ has done for us at Calvary.
Untold millions in the world are lost without God, but it’s
because they will not avail themselves of the opportunity
of accepting Christ.
Regrettably, many in the Church, if not most, fall
into the same category. They do not understand that it
was at the Cross that all victory was won. This means
that the Cross of Christ must ever be made the Object of
our Faith (Rom. 6:1-14; 8:1-2, 11; I Cor. 1:17-18, 23; 2:2;
Gal., Chpt. 5; 6:14; Eph. 2:13-18; Col. 2:14-15).
When the Believer places his Faith exclusively in
Christ and the Cross, and maintains his Faith exclusively in Christ and the Cross, the Holy Spirit, Who Alone
can effect what is needed in our lives, will work grandly
on our behalf. However, the Holy Spirit will not work
outside the parameters of the Finished Work of Christ,
which necessitates our Faith in that Redemption Plan.
Paul said:
“For the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus has made
me free from the Law of Sin and Death” (Rom. 8:2).
The Cross of Christ is God’s Way, and His only Way,
because that is all that is needed.

of darkness in the world. The greater Power is in the
Holy Spirit, Who works exclusively, as stated, within the
parameters of the Cross. This is God’s Way, the Way of
the Cross, and it does not need the help of the ways of
the world.
In fact, psychology holds no help at all for the homosexual, or anyone else for that matter, only harm. It
is harm because it attempts to make the person believe
a lie, and it keeps them from their only Source of help,
the Lord Jesus Christ.
THE WISDOM OF THE WORLD
Psychological counseling, for the most part, attempts
to make the homosexual “feel good about himself,” in
other words, to accept his orientation, as it is called. If
the truth be known, many psychologists claim that the
guilt felt by homosexuals (or anyone for that matter), is
the real problem, and is present because of certain myths,
they say, called the Bible, etc.
While it is true that the “Law” of the Bible does point
out man’s terrible sins, still, if the Bible did not exist,
the guilt of man’s fallen condition would remain. The
guilt can only be removed by Jesus Christ. The Bible did
not originate the guilt — sin being the fault — it only
defines it.
Concerning guilt Paul also said:
“There is therefore now no condemnation (guilt) to them
who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh but after
the Spirit” (Rom. 8:1).

ARE ALL HOMOSEXUALS INSTANTLY DELIVERED
AT THE MOMENT OF SALVATION?
In fact, yes! Actually, it can be no other way, if Salvation is to be Salvation (II Cor. 5:17-18); however, whereas
this terrible bondage, as with other problems such as
temper, alcohol, nicotine, etc., are at times broken immediately, with some, certain things regarding particular
victory does not come quite so quickly. In other words,
at times there is a struggle.
However, the Lord does not throw us out if we fail or slip
back, but, in fact, instantly forgives us as we ask for such
(I Jn. 1:9). Consequently, the new Believer must continue
to believe God, making certain that his Faith is strictly
in Christ and the Cross, which, as stated, will then give
the Holy Spirit latitude to work within his life, which
will ultimately bring victory. In fact, the struggle may
continue for a period of time, but if the Believer keeps
his Faith in Christ and the Cross, and doesn’t allow it to
be moved to something else, ultimately, that sin will no
longer have dominion over that person, whatever type
of sin it might be. Paul said:
“For sin shall not have dominion over
you (the sin nature will not have dominion over us if
we as Believers continue to exercise Faith in the Cross
of Christ; otherwise, the sin nature most definitely
will have dominion over the Believer): for you are
not under the Law (means that if we try to live
this life by any type of law, no matter how good that
law might be in its own right, we will conclude by the
sin nature having dominion over us), but under
Grace (the Grace of God flows to the Believer on an
unending basis only as long as the Believer exercises
Faith in Christ and what He did at the Cross; Grace is
merely the Goodness of God exercised by and through
the Holy Spirit, and given to undeserving Saints)”
(Rom. 6:14).
WILL HOMOSEXUALITY CAUSE ONE TO BE
ETERNALLY LOST?
Yes, that is if the person does not repent and, thereby,
forsake that lifestyle. Of course, the same can be said for
alcoholism, drug addiction, or religion for that matter
(Gal. 5:19-21).

When the person truly comes to Christ, making Him
the Lord of one’s life, affections change totally and completely. Actually, the Scripture is rather implicit about

not know Jesus. Only Jesus can make a marriage, and
He definitely will not do so with such an unscriptural,
perverted lifestyle of homosexuality, irrespective of claims
to the contrary.
However, if a home does have Christ, it has the
only solution for its problems and the only guarantee
for success.
HOW SHOULD CHRISTIANS REACT TOWARD
HOMOSEXUALS?

WHAT ABOUT THE LAWS OF CERTAIN STATES
LEGALIZING HOMOSEXUAL MARRIAGES?
The Courts legalizing something, does not legitimize
it in the Eyes of God. The Word of God does not change
irrespective of what others may do. That is the reason it
is referred to as Objective Truth, which means it is the
same Standard forever and for everyone.
The recognition of homosexual marriages by the
Courts is an abomination in the sight of God.
As well, the allowing of homosexual couples to adopt
children is again, an abomination. Putting a child in
such an abnormal environment, can do nothing but
have an adverse effect on that child, which will affect
them negatively for the rest of their life. In fact, a study
was recently done in England concerning this very thing.
They found after exhaustive surveys, that irrespective
what the world of psychology said, that the children
who were placed in homosexual homes did not fare near
as well as otherwise. In fact, there was such a negative
influence on these little hearts and lives, that most of
them, if any of them, outside of Christ, would ever get
over the situation.
Regrettably, this is also the case in many so-called
straight homes and for the simple reason that most do

To which we have alluded elsewhere in our comments
on this subject, the Lord loves the homosexual just as
much as He does anyone else. When He died on Calvary,
He died for these people just as well as He died for you
and me. In fact, His Atonement is no different for them
than for us.
Likewise, Christians must show kindness and the God
kind of Love toward homosexuals, as they do for others.
That means, at least as far as possible, to treat them as
human beings, and that means with respect and dignity;
however, the Believer must never leave the impression
that such a lifestyle is condoned, while at the same time
not leveling condemnation on the person. No one has
ever brought people to Christ with a club, but millions
have been brought to the Saviour because they felt somebody cared for them.
At the same time, I do not think it is possible that
Believers could be close friends with a homosexual, or
anyone outside of Christ for that matter! The Believer
and the unbeliever have absolutely nothing in common,
at least on which to build and sustain a friendship. One
serves Christ, while the other serves himself.
THE REPROBATE MIND
The Scripture says, “And even as they did not like to
retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a
reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient” (Rom. 1:28).
The phrase, “And even as they did not like to retain
God in their knowledge,” carries the idea of the human race
putting God to the test for the purpose of approving or
disapproving Him.
They wanted a God to their liking, and finding that
He did not meet those specifications, the world refused to
approve Him as the God to be worshipped, or have Him
in its knowledge.
The “knowledge” spoken here, in the Greek is “epignosis,” and means “full and precise knowledge.” In other
words, their knowledge of God, due to their rebellion
against Him, and, therefore, going into deep sin, was
only a dim and perverted memory!

confused and lost, so that God’s condemnation cannot
but fall on it at last.
This speaks of people who are completely perverted.
As the Canaanites of old who did their abominations
unto their gods, the last depth of evil has been reached.
There were three terrible sins pandemic in the great
empires of the past, which contributed greatly to their fall.
They are:
1. Homosexuality;
2. Pedophilia (child molestation); and,
3. Incest.
Regrettably, America is heading down the same path.
The only answer for the homosexual and anyone
for that matter is the Lord Jesus Christ. When He comes
into the heart, this bondage of darkness will cease, and
it will only cease if He comes into the heart. There is no
answer other than “Jesus Christ and Him Crucified.”

situation, it is because educators “did not like to retain God
in their knowledge.” So, and speaking of the Public School
System, we have Godless schools, which means that the
schools are filled with Satan. We have Godless education, which means that what knowledge the students do
have is largely warped and twisted, ill-preparing them for
life. We have Godless direction, consequently we have
erroneous ways.
The phrase, “God gave them over to a reprobate mind,”
presents the third time such a statement is used (Rom. 1:24,
26, 28). Once again, humanity wanted that which was
licentious and evil and the Lord took away the restraining forces, allowing them to have what they desired.
The words “reprobate mind” in the Greek Text is
“adokimon noun.” It carries the idea of the human race
putting God on trial, and because it rejected Him, God
gave it a “trialless” mind, in other words, one incapable
of discharging the functions of a mind with respect to
the things of Salvation.
As they did not think it fit to keep God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a mind which has no way
to comprehend God. In other words, Light rejected is
Light withdrawn. The one thing answers to the other.
Virtually, they pronounce the True God disapproved
and would have none of Him, and He in turn gave them
up to a disapproved mind, a mind which actually is no
mind, and cannot discharge the functions of one, a mind
in which the Divine distinctions of right and wrong are

The Word of God says, “The LORD has made all things for Himself: yes, even the wicked for the day of evil. (The sense of this Proverb is
that God’s Plan was designed for and by Himself. In this Plan is the
Truth that the ‘wicked’ will suffer for their evil unless they repent.) Everyone who is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished. (Pride is the
foundation sin of all sin. It breeds unbelief. God has pledged that even
though the proud join ‘hand in hand,’ and despite all of their power
and riches, still, they will not go unpunished.) By Mercy and Truth
iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil. (‘Purged’ denotes ‘covered’ or ‘atoned for.’ Mercy and Truth atoned
for iniquity at Calvary. The moral effect of this great fact and Doctrine
is to cause men to fear God and depart from evil)” (Prov. 16:4-6). Romans 1:16 states: “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: for it is the Power of God unto Salvation to everyone who believes;
to the Jew first and also to the Greek.” Pride ignores the Gospel and
its Solution (Christ and Him Crucified) for the ills of man. So, how can
the church believe that “joining hands” with this pride will please the
Lord? How can the church expect to receive anything but the same
Judgment promised to the arrogant and unbelieving when she has
joined their cause?
SEPARATION
Furthermore, as it regards Christians working with the unregenerate of this world, the Scriptures give explicit instructions to
remain separate. Partnership with pagans is direct disobedience to
the Lord. “Be not unequally yoked together with unbelievers (there
are two fellowships in the world, and only two; all men belong
either to one or the other; no one can belong to both and claim to
be a Christian; one is with the world, and one is with the Lord): for
what fellowship has Righteousness with unrighteousness? (None!)
and what communion has light with darkness? (None!) Wherefore
come out from among them, and be you separate, says the Lord (as
stated, the Word of God emphatically teaches separation from the
world, but not isolation), and touch not the unclean thing (refers
to Christians avoiding all unholy contact with a vain and polluted

world); and I will receive you (at the same time, means if the person
disobeys these injunctions the Lord will not receive us; the Christian
can walk clean in this world only by constantly evidencing Faith in
the Cross of Christ, which makes it possible for the Holy Spirit to do
His Work within our lives)” (II Cor. 6:14, 17).
CALLED BY GOD OR CALLED BY MAN
The use of today’s many varied Bible translations has also given
man the unfortunate ability to make God’s Word appear to say what
man wants it to say rather than what it really says. A perfect example
of this is Matthew, Chapter 10. Read it for yourself, and you will find
that Jesus empowered and commanded His Disciples to go specifically
to the “lost sheep of Israel” — to raise the dead, cast out demons,
miraculously heal the sick and diseased, and preach to them that
the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand, meaning Salvation had come! They were not sent to go “cure social problems.” Jesus did not just
send out anyone who was willing to tag along. He commissioned
specific men, chosen Vessels of His Truth. There is a major difference between those called by God and those called by man! A man
called by other men will be accountable to far lesser superiors. Here,
Jesus was sending His Disciples and, at that particular time, not to
the Gentiles nor to the Samaritans, but to the Jews who knew and
understood the Scriptures of old and were looking for His Coming. It is a gross misinterpretation of this Passage of Scripture to use
it to validate that which Rick Warren calls an, “effort to mobilize
Churches around the world to combat,” and he calls the five global
giants: “spiritual emptiness, corrupt leadership, poverty, disease,
and illiteracy.”
PEACE PLAN?
Warren incorrectly infers: “When Jesus sent His Disciples out
(Mat., Chpt. 10), He said, ‘When you go into a village, you find the
man of peace,’ and He said, ‘If he accepts, he’s open, he’s receptive,
and he’s willing to work with you, you start your Ministry there.’ But
Jesus said, ‘If you don’t find the man of peace, you dust the dust off

is the rest of the Passage with The Expositor’s Study Bible explanation: “And when you come into an house, salute it (bestow peace). And if
the house be worthy (of like faith), let your peace (blessing) come upon
it: but if it be not worthy (proves not to be of like faith), let your peace
return to you (don’t bless it). And whosoever shall not receive you,
nor hear your words, when you depart out of that house or city, shake
off the dust of your feet (a curse is now upon such). Verily I say unto
you (extremely important announcement), It shall be more tolerable
(degrees of punishment) for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the
Day of Judgment (Great White Throne Judgment, Rev., Chpt. 20), than
for that city” (Mat. 10:12-15). Please note the warning given by Jesus
at the end. If the Message was rejected, Judgment was to follow. The
Lord also said, “shake off the dust” if any man refuses the Gospel;
there is no reason to work with him!
THE BIBLE WAY!
of your shoes, and go to the next village, because you can’t always
find someone that’s willing to work with you.’” But, nowhere does
this Passage of Scripture even remotely instruct us to enlist the help
of Muslims, Mormons, Hindus, Buddhists, Atheists, homosexuals,
or any other nonbeliever who is willing to board Warren’s “PEACE
Plan.” In reading Chapter 10, we see that Verse 11 says, “And into
whatsoever city or town you shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy
(of like faith); and there abide till you go thence (work with them).” Jesus is speaking of people of like faith; these are the people He
meant for us to work with. To be “worthy” of something, you must
be in agreement with its standards and willing to live up to them. So, you are worthy of the Gospel only if you accept and practice it. Willingness to join a peace movement does not automatically indicate worthiness to Christ. The Lord specifically guided His Apostles
regarding the places they should go. The Leading and Guidance of
the Holy Spirit is always a requirement in doing the Work of God. No man-devised plan is worthy of our Lord either.
PREACHING!
In Verse 7, Jesus says, “And as you go preach saying, The Kingdom
of Heaven is at hand (the Kingdom was rejected by Israel)”. You see,
first and foremost Israel needed to be Saved! They had rejected the
Lord. Would it have made any sense for the Apostles to enlist the
help of “the lost” to preach the Kingdom of God? No, of course not! How can you preach what is not in your heart? You cannot recruit the
world to help you preach Jesus Christ and Him Crucified. Obviously,
the Saved have to be enlisted in order to reach the unsaved. That is
God’s Plan of proclaiming the Good News. So, this should be a clear
sign to the church today that Rick Warren is not really doing what he
says he’s doing. If Warren was really preaching the Gospel, it would
not make any sense for him to be enlisting the world like he is. Here

I can remember the giant Crusades this Ministry conducted in
foreign fields. Catholics, Muslims, Mormons, Hindus, Buddhists,
Atheists, and all pagan religions of the world fought us every step
of the way. In Central and South America, the Catholic priests tried
to prevent us from coming into the country. They went on television
and warned Catholics not to attend our meetings, threatening them
with expulsion from the Catholic Church if they even attended the
services. But they did come, by the thousands, repenting of their
sins, giving their hearts to the Lord, receiving the Holy Spirit with the
evidence of speaking in Tongues, receiving healing in their bodies,
allowing the Lord to put their families back together, and introducing
even more loved ones to Salvation (sometimes even to second and
third generations). Great Moves of God! These Saved and changed
people moved out of their pagan religions, and new Bible-based
churches sprang up all over these countries. We had the privilege
of building several of them – in Central and South America and in
Latin America, about 59 Churches and Evangelistic centers in these
countries alone.
A MOVE OF GOD
I remember arriving in Manila, in the Philippines, and being escorted by guards through the airport to a special room. We were told
by authorities that we would not be allowed into the country. At that
time Cardinal Sin was the head Bishop of the Catholic Church in the
Philippines, and he had told the airport authorities that we were not
to be allowed into the country. It was assumed that in Manila, being
such a strong Catholic city, Cardinal Sin would have to be obeyed. But God prevailed in spite of the stronghold of Catholicism that day,
and we were allowed in. And what a meeting we had! Thousands
were Saved, and again, new churches sprang up all over the city. Since the people were coming out of the Catholic Churches in these
countries, they were left with no buildings to worship in. So, many
churches began under trees or right out in the open fields. We had
the privilege of seeing some of the churches which began this way. When people could, they began renting buildings and later moved
on into their own churches.

belief, they could begin to fellowship and worship God. Verse 42
says, “they continued steadfastly in the Apostles’ Doctrine” – again,
all unified because of this one Doctrine.
BIBLICAL UNITY
APOSTASY
I was sent an article written by Benny Hinn some time back in
which he was standing alongside Cardinal Sin rejoicing over the fact
that he had had no problem entering Manila. He told how he had
joined hands with Cardinal Sin. The Catholic Church even cooperated
with his meetings. He then told of how the Catholic Church had tried
to block our entrance into the city, but how wonderful it was that he
and the Catholic Church were working together. He would even be
sending his converts back into the Catholic Church. After our meetings,
the converts went into Pentecostal Churches, mainly Assembly of God
or started a church of their own. Hinn’s converts went back into their
paganized worship. What a difference! (A 1997 National Assemblies of
God Conference in Adelaide, Australia Benny Hinn eulogized the Pope and told of
his meeting with Cardinal Sin of the Philippines and their private agreement that Sin
would promote Hinn, and that Hinn would encourage Roman Catholics to remain

THE EARLY CHURCH
Let’s look at the Early Church. In Peter’s Sermon from Acts
2:14-47, Verse 47 says: “Praising God, and having favour with all
the people (Jerusalem as a whole was favorably impressed by what
they saw respecting these followers of Christ). And the Lord added
to the Church daily such as should be Saved (many were coming to
the Lord).” Men called of God stepped out in Faith, “not fearing
for their lives,” and preached the Word. It went forth by the Power
of the Holy Spirit. Men listened and in Verse 41 the Word of God
says: “Then they who gladly received his word were baptized (some
believed what Peter said, gave their hearts to God, and repented of
their sins; they were then baptized in water): and the same day there
were added unto them about three thousand souls (on the first Day
of Pentecost, the Day the Law was given, some three thousand men
died [Ex. 32:28]; on this Day of Pentecost, due to the Cross, some three
thousand people were Saved).” Notice the Scripture says, those who
“received the Word,” that 3,000 souls were added to the Apostles’
Doctrine. In other words, men of God preached the Word, and as
men, women, and children accepted the Lord, they were all brought

Verse 44 says, “And all who believed were together (due to the
great animosity of the Jews against the followers of Christ, Believers
had to band together), and had all things common (due to thousands
losing their jobs because of persecution, those who had material
goods shared with those who didn’t).” How much clearer could it be
that unity is only achieved by having the same belief? Verses 45 and
46 say, “And sold their possessions and goods (they sold things they
did not absolutely need, in order that they may be able to help those
who were in great need), and parted them to all men, as every man
had need (proclaimed a Christlike community because of the great
persecution at hand). And they, continuing daily with one accord in
the Temple (in a sense, the Temple had been turned into a Church,
which must have been extremely irritating to the religious authorities), and breaking bread from house to house (means that the Church
per se was actually ensconced in houses all over Jerusalem), did eat
their meat with gladness and singleness of heart (they had a joy that
persecution could not hinder).” This passage is a great confirmation
of what Matthew, Chapter 10 was really saying, rather than what Rick
Warren says it means. Any Christian who actually reads Matthew,
Chapter 10 ought to be able to see what Jesus empowered His Disciples
to do at that particular time in history and to whom He specifically
sent them to. Anyone should also be able to see that it is in no way
even remotely related to what Rick Warren is suggesting by enlisting
Muslims, Mormons, Hindus, Buddhists, Jews, Atheists, homosexuals,
and presumably whoever else he can get on-board his “PEACE Plan.” And dear reader, please remember that this is Rick Warren’s plan to
begin with, not the Lord’s!
God’s Way cannot be altered. God calls a man, empowers him
with the Holy Spirit, and sends him forth to preach His Word. Through
this method souls are gloriously and magnificently brought into His
Kingdom! All glory to God Alone!

“THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF CHRIST”

I Peter 1:18-19 – “Forasmuch as you know that
you were not redeemed with corruptible things,
as silver and gold (presents the fact that the most
precious commodities [silver and gold] could not
redeem fallen man), from your vain conversation
(vain lifestyle) received by tradition from your fathers (speaks of original sin that is passed on from
father to child at conception);
“But with the Precious Blood of Christ (presents
the payment, which proclaims the poured out Life
of Christ on behalf of sinners), as of a Lamb without
blemish and without spot (speaks of the lambs offered as substitutes in the Old Jewish economy; the
Death of Christ was not an execution or assassination, but rather a Sacrifice; the Offering of Himself
presented a Perfect Sacrifice, for He was Perfect in
every respect [Ex. 12:5]):”
It is easy in ministry to fall into the habit of preaching
about the Gospel, but not preach the Gospel itself. The
Gospel Message is Christ, who He is, the Redeemer and
Saviour, and what He did, die on the Cross for my sins as
the Only Sacrifice God the Father would accept.
REDEMPTION
In Verse 18 Peter states, “Forasmuch as you know that
you were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver
and gold,” presents the fact that the work accomplished
by Christ on Calvary was all of Him and none of us. We
play no part except as it regards sin. Man in his guilt could
not atone for man’s sins. Therefore, God became Man,
sinless, perfect, spotless, and blameless. He died in our
place because He was sinless, God accepted His Death as
a Sacrifice, with His Blood atoning for man’s sins, past,
present, and future.

The word “redeemed” means to set free by the payment of ransom. This term refers to the buying of slaves
in the slave market. Peter, by the use of this word, clearly
states that all before Salvation are slaves to sin, Satan,
passion, and self-will. No matter how educated fallen
man may be, no matter how much money he may have,
no matter how cosmopolitan and sophisticated he may
be, without Christ he is a slave.
SILVER AND GOLD
The highest form of commerce that man values and
strives for is silver and gold. However, no matter the
worth of silver and gold, they are worthless when it comes
to purchasing man’s Spiritual Freedom. The value of a
human soul is so great, so valuable as to defy all description. The soul of man is so valuable that there is nothing
on Earth that can redeem it.
Therefore, God had to become Man in order that man
could be bought back.
His Death, His Body broken, was the only Sacrifice
God could accept. “He Who knew no sin, became sin
(Sin-Offering in the Greek), that we might be made the
Righteousness of God in Him” (II Cor. 5:21).
VAIN CONVERSATION
This statement refers to our former lifestyle before
conversion. Vain means “empty nothings.” Solomon
said, “Vanity of vanities; all is vanity” (Eccl. 1:2). Life is
meaningless nothings without Christ.
TRADITION
The phrase, “By tradition from your fathers” refers to

from God, could not redeem man, but only point out
man’s futile endeavors of perfection and good.
THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF CHRIST
Now Peter tells us the only thing that can redeem a
slave of sin is “The Precious Blood of Christ.” Precious
means valuable, honored, costly. His Blood untainted by
the Fall was pure, and it could do for man what silver,
gold, tradition, and the Law could not do. His Blood was
the payment, which proclaims the poured out Life of
Christ, all on our behalf. His poured out Life is the only
thing that could satisfy Divine Justice.
The Blood of Christ is precious, valuable, costly, and
honored because the Blood of Jesus has done the following for all who will say “yes” to Him.
His Blood is precious because:
1. Through His Blood we have God’s Atoning Grace.
2. His Blood has washed away our sins.
3. His Blood has given us the Promise and Power of
a redeemed, regenerated life.
4. His Blood has made us Holy, Righteous, and
acceptable.
5. His Blood has justified us, and sanctified us.

6. His Blood brings healing to the mind, the soul, and
the body.
7. His Blood frees us from the guilt of our past.
8. His Blood makes it possible for the Holy Spirit to
live and dwell in man’s heart.
9. His Blood has made us acceptable that we may
now enter into the very Presence of the Throne
of God.
Yes, my friend, the Blood of Jesus Christ is the most
precious substance in the world.
As the songwriter wrote long ago:
“What can wash away my sin?
“Nothing but the Blood of Jesus.
“What can make me whole again?
“Nothing but the Blood of Jesus.”

My family loves your Ministry and we have listened to
you for eight plus years. Before I started homeschooling
my children, around five years ago, I would pick them up
from school. All three children were in middle school. I
was running late one day, so they were some of the last
children to get picked up. I was listening to Sister Frances’
program, and you were on there talking about the filling
of the Holy Spirit. I just started praying to God just to
loose my tongue, and before I knew it, it happened. I was
so in the Spirit that I just went flying pass my children’s
school, and had to turn around about half a mile down
the road and come back. When I pulled up to them, my
oldest daughter told my youngest daughter, “Here comes
Mama, and there she goes.” They said I just went flying
on passed. Some of the other kids asked if that was me,
and when I pulled in they heard your program on and
one of my daughters said, “I knew it. I told everyone
you were probably listening to Brother Swaggart and
was praying!”
We love ya’ll and listen to you on the radio, internet,
and watch you on TV. My children have been raised on
your Ministry, and we thank God for it because He has
blessed us with children that fear Him, and seek to talk
about Him any chance they get.

“I Am What I Am By The Grace of God”

1 Corinthians 15:9-10 – “For I am the least of the
Apostles (not mock modesty, but rather the most
deep humility), that am not meet (worthy) to be
called an Apostle, because I persecuted the Church
of God (before his conversion).
“But by the Grace of God I am what I am
(concerns the Favor or Mercy of God): and His
Grace which was bestowed upon me was not in
vain (it was not without effect, telling us that it
is without effect with many); but I laboured more
abundantly than they all (proclaims that which
Grace enabled Paul to do because he had a greater
grasp of Grace than anyone else, which speaks
of the Cross, the means of Grace): yet not I, but
the Grace of God which was with me (is with all
Believers who look toward the Cross [I Cor. 1:17]).”
Justified By Grace
If anyone ever felt unworthy of God’s marvelous
Grace, it was the Apostle Paul. He had been a persecutor
of those in the early Church; sending some to prison,
perhaps even some to death. He was so enveloped with
hate for those of “the way” that he led the charge to
eliminate any “Jesus lover” among his people. But, when
he met Jesus on that Damascus road, he encountered
the Author of Truth and Grace. Jesus doesn’t just display
Truth and Grace, He is Truth and Grace. The truth was
that Jesus was the Messiah, the Son of God, who died
for the sins of all men. Those who will by faith accept
Him as Saviour will be instantly justified; not by works,
but by Grace through Faith! God’s Grace reached out
to Paul, forever setting an example to all, that Jesus
offers Grace, not just to friends who loved Him, but
also to His enemies who hated Him. For this I will be
eternally grateful. For when I was dead in my trespasses
and sins, God’s Grace drew me, convicted me, convinced
me of God’s Redemption Plan, and accepted me, based

upon my response to His Offer of clemency. Like Paul,
unworthy as can be, I am justified by Faith and Grace!
Transformed By Grace
Grace doesn’t stop with forgiveness. Grace is also
the power source that transforms the Believer into
whatever God designs them to be. The initial Salvation
experience introduces us into the process of Faith and
Grace, a process we must never leave. As long as the
Believer’s Object of Faith remains true to Christ and
the Cross, the Grace of God will flow, miraculously
performing the impossible task! That is, transforming
the Believer into a man or woman of God. In Galatians
2:8-9 the Apostle Paul stated that the same Power of
the Holy Spirit that called and equipped Peter was
recognized by other Apostles as the same Power that
worked mightily in Him. Thus, the effectual working of
the Holy Spirit, one aspect of the Grace of God, should
be flowing to us, transforming us into the person we
must become and guiding us to the position in the body
of Christ that we are to hold.
Laboring By Grace
Again, the Grace of God doesn’t stop there! Paul
says that out of all the Apostles, he labored more
abundantly. He is not bragging about personal strength
or endeavor. His statements are not filled with pride
but rather, with fact. He sees very clearly that without
the empowerment of God’s Grace, superintended by
the Person of the Holy Spirit, his labor would come to
very little. But, with his Faith securely in the Finished
Work of Christ, He surges forward, pushing through
opposition, fighting exhaustion, ever going the extra
mile for the Cause of Christ. He does this not in his
own strength but by the Grace of God. When men are
justified by Grace, transformed by Grace, and labor by

“I HAVE CHOSEN THIS PLACE FOR MYSELF AS AN
HOUSE OF SACRIFICE”
II Chronicles 7:12 – “And the LORD appeared to Solomon
by night, and said unto him, I have heard your prayer, and
have chosen this place to Myself for an House of Sacrifice.
(The Lord not only answered Solomon’s prayer by a manifestation of the fire falling from Heaven, but, as well, He
portrayed what He will do, as it regards Solomon’s petition,
and in no uncertain terms.
“As well, we find here that the Lord referred to the
Temple as a ‘House of Sacrifice.’ We should take note that
the modern church should fall into the same category,
inasmuch as our Message should be, ‘Jesus Christ and Him
Crucified’ [I Cor. 1:23]. The Cross must be the primary Message [Rom. 6:3-14; I Cor. 2:2].)”
It would have been such an awesome sight to see when the
Temple was dedicated unto the Lord. To see all of the Nation of Israel
gathered around the newly completed structure, and to be there when
a holy hush fell over the crowd, as Solomon walked out upon a brazen
platform, kneeling down with royal garments and began to pray a
prayer of dedication over the Temple. The sacrifices were prepared on
the Altar, a Type of the Sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ. This scene is
outstanding to say the least. The king of Israel kneeling down, all of
Israel laying prostrate before the Lord, then all of a sudden, fire came
down from Heaven and consumed the sacrifice that had been offered. Then, and only then, can the Glory of the Lord fill the Temple.
BEFORE YOU CAN EXPERIENCE GOD’S GLORY, YOU MUST
EXPERIENCE GOD’S SACRIFICE
There are many Youth Groups around the Country that want to
experience the Glory of the Lord, and rightfully so. But, unfortunately,
they do not want to experience God’s Sacrifice. We must understand
that the only way for our Youth Groups to experience God’s Glory is
to first of all experience God’s Sacrifice. The only way that the Glory
of the Lord could fill the Temple that day was if the sacrifice was accepted first; and if God accepted the sacrifice, then the one offering
the sacrifice would be accepted.

The Cross of Christ has been neglected, not only in the majority
of our churches, but also in the majority of our Youth Groups. Sadly,
today’s Youth Groups have become little more than a teenage hangout,
with most teenagers believing that the Youth Group provides no help
for the struggles that they face. Do you realize that the average age
that a teenager leaves the Youth Group is the age of 16 years old? This is when they feel that the Youth Group is of little relevance and,
in most cases, they are right. The modern Youth Group has become a
place of social gatherings, or a place where entertainment rules the
roost, so to speak.
My question is this, “What good will entertainment do for that
young lady who is cutting herself because of the pain that she has
endured? What good would parties do for a young man who is
contemplating suicide?” The only answer for our Young People is
the Cross of the Lord Jesus Christ, and that Alone is the Answer! There is nothing that can take the place of the Lord Jesus Christ! Stop presenting the methods of the world, and start preaching the
Cross of the Lord Jesus Christ!
THE STRENGTH OF OUR YOUTH GROUPS SHOULD BE THE
BLOOD OF THE LAMB
During the time of the dedication of the Temple, Solomon offered
a staggering amount of sacrifices, 22,000 oxen and 120,000 sheep. So many sacrifices were performed that day that the Brook Kidron,
which ran between the Temple Site and the Mt. of Olives, ran red with
blood. Solomon did not pull that number out of the air, but I believe
that the Holy Spirit instructed Solomon to do this as a lesson not only
to Israel, but also to every Child of God today, and that lesson is that
the strength of Israel was based upon the foundation of the shed blood
of the lamb.
The same can be said today! The strength of this Nation, and the
strength of our Youth Groups, is not the amount of money we have
in the bank, or the strength of our Army or Navy, but it is the Shed
Blood of the Lamb. Our help does not come from Washington, D.C.,
nor does it come from any denomination that is run by man, but our
help comes from the Lord Jesus Christ. The tremendous number of

that was shed that paid the price for every single soul who will believe,
which places its worth beyond our comprehension.
When the Cross of the Lord Jesus Christ is being preached from
behind our Pulpits under the Anointing of the Holy Spirit, then you will
see a revolution take place among your Youth Group, with lives being
completely and totally changed, and Believers being baptized with the
Holy Spirit, and bondages being broken by the Power of God! Once
again, I want to state that the strength of Crossfire Youth Ministry is
the foundation of the Shed Blood of the Lamb.
“A HOUSE OF SACRIFICE”
When the Temple was constructed, it would have been the most
expensive building ever constructed. The reason was the amount
of gold and precious jewels that were found in the Temple, plus the
way it was constructed. But despite the fact that the Temple was
the most expensive building to ever have been built, God did not
view the Temple as a House of Gold, but rather He called it a House
of Sacrifice. This reveals the true purpose of this structure. The
Cross of Christ is the foundation of the entirety of the Plan of God,
formulated in the Mind of the Godhead before the foundation of the
world was ever laid (I Pet. 1:18-20). Everything that the Lord does is
predicated on the Sacrifice of Christ, and if it is not predicated upon
the Shed Blood of the Lamb, then it will lead to error.
Whether you love this Ministry or hate this Ministry, you will have
to admit that when you turn on SonLife Broadcasting Network, that
you will hear us preach the Cross of Christ! You will hear us proclaim
at Crossfire Youth Ministries, “We preach, we preach Christ, we preach
Christ Crucified!” We do not preach a greed gospel, or a gospel of
fables, nor do we preach an entertaining or social gospel, but we preach
Christ Crucified (I Cor. 1:23). What is the Lord saying about your Youth
Group? Does the Lord look at it as a House of Sacrifice? Or does
He look at it as something else? God has raised up this Ministry for
one purpose, and that is to spearhead a movement to bring the Cross
of the Lord Jesus Christ back to the Church, to once again place the
preeminence on the Cross of the Lord Jesus Christ!

its beliefs. I believe that from this school, God will Call
many into the Ministry in order to cause His Voice to be

believe that many will come from this place equipped
with the Word and the Spirit to stand against error in
the last days. Even if the student does not feel a Call
to Ministry, he or she must understand the Message of

THE SONLIFE BROADCASTING NETWORK
THANK YOU!
In September of 2010, we were reaching approximately
5 million homes in America with the Television Network
24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In a matter of 30 days,
we were reaching some 43 million homes. To my knowledge, such has never been done in the history of Christian
Broadcasting. It can be described only as a Miracle.
When told that we were not selling time on the Network to other preachers, not that there is anything wrong
with that, but were depending solely on the gifts of the
people to pay the bills, preachers everywhere said, “It
can’t be done.” In the natural they are right, it cannot
be done; however, when the Lord is behind something,
anything can be done.
The letters, e-mails, and telephone calls that we are
getting, speak for themselves. Without going into detail,
suffice to say, the people are being Spiritually fed, and
that’s what THE MESSAGE OF THE CROSS is designed to
do. And, incidentally, it was designed by the Holy Spirit.
As you’ve heard me say any number of times, we
plan to go on every Cable in this nation that’s possible to
do so, and every Satellite all over the world. Also, even
though I’m dictating this several weeks before you will
read it, we should now be translating 24 hours a day, 7
days a week the entire programming into Spanish. We
will follow that shortly with Portuguese, which covers
Brazil, etc., and then with Russian, which will cover
the largest country land wise in the world. As you’ve
also heard me say several times, we believe that “The
Message of the Cross is what the Spirit of God is presently
saying to the Churches.”
If, in fact, that is correct, and we most definitely believe that it is, then it’s imperative that this Message get
to the entirety of the church world.
Without you we simply could not do what God has
called us to do. In fact, your place and position in this
great Move of God that’s going to last for several years and
could potentially bring millions into the Kingdom, will be, I
believe, the last great Move before the coming Great Tribulation. This is a place and position of honor, of privilege,
and above all of responsibility. I cannot answer as to why
the Lord has chosen this Ministry to spearhead this great
Word all over the world, and neither do I know why He has
chosen you. The thing I would caution you about is:
Don’t take your place and position lightly. Understand how important that it is to the Kingdom of God.

THE FACTS ARE . . .
While I don’t want to overstate the case, neither
do I want to understate it. So I’ll say it in the following manner.
What the Lord is now beginning to do, and which
will increase in intensity, most definitely is, I believe, one
of the greatest Moves ever tendered by the Holy Spirit.
Considering we believe this is the last great Move before
the coming Great Tribulation, then we should understand
just how important all of this is. Please note the following carefully:
• You might be the only thing standing between
mankind and the Judgment of God. It is because
of the Message that you are helping to espouse,
which is THE MESSAGE OF THE CROSS.
• Considering the time frame of all of this, your
position is at least one of the most important that
has ever been in the Work of God. I realize that’s
quite a statement, but I believe it to be true.

Let me explain! If there isn’t a Church in your area
that preaches and teaches the Cross of Christ, you should
start one in your home. And no, you don’t have to be a
preacher to do this.

so at the time of the Church Service, when it comes into
your area, and worship with us. We have many, many
who do that.

Pray for us that the Gospel, as Paul said, will have
“free course.” Pray for us that we will do exactly what the
Lord wants us to do, no more, no less. Pray for us that
God’s Will will be done in all things.
