The Livestock Judging Team at the Winter Beef Expo Contest
Livestock Weigh-In Dates
If you are planning on showing livestock this year at the County Fair, you
MUST weigh and tag your livestock at the respective weigh-in dates. Beef
weigh-in has been set for February 18th from 4:30-6:30 at Winter Livestock.
In case of bad weather that day, it will be moved to February 25th. You will
be notified if it changes. Small livestock weigh-in will be in April, continue to
watch your newsletters for that date.
A service charge of $25 will be applied per trip to tag animals for other shows
not brought to respective weigh-in dates. What if the 4-H’er is unable to be at
the weigh-in? No worries, the ANIMAL can be brought to the weigh-in by
anyone. If you have questions, just let us know!

Now is the time to start setting goals for your projects
and making plans! If you’re new to a project, try to
have 5-8 goals and add a couple goals every year that
you’re enrolled. These goals can be learning new things
about the project, helping younger members in the
project, or donating something you make in the project
to someone. Keep in mind that a competitive KAP has
goals that focus on learning experiences, leadership,
and citizenship!
The 4-H Foundation provides financial support to
our program by: providing college and camp
scholarships; sponsoring trips such as the Denver
Consumer Science award trip, officer’s training,
record book incentives and school enrichment
programs. If you have questions about the
