Dear Residents,
Another spring and summer is quickly approaching! We are all anxiously awaiting to finally put away our snow shoes and get our bicycles
and shorts out! With these privileges comes lots of great recreational opportunities at the Community Center. HTCC offers activities for all ages
and activity levels. Our newest addition to better your outdoor recreation experience is the electricity via solar panels installed at the municipal
complex pavilion. This is just one of the many ways, the recreation department is creating opportunities to thrive in outdoor activities this spring
and summer.
You also may have noticed a new “park” at the municipal complex. This is for your four legged friends. The dog park offers separate areas for
both small and large dogs as well as a water fountain for fido! Please be aware dogs (leashed) are now allowed on all township paths and outdoor
areas.
Lastly, please take advantage of our new 9 hole disc golf course located behind the Community Center. The layout is available via map format on
the front of the Community Center. We also offer maps and Frisbees to borrow inside the center! See you out on the course!
Thanks for supporting local recreation!

The staff of the Hanover Township Community Center is proud to bring back the highly success-ful TeenWorkz program! The program is
designed to give 13-15 year olds practical, hands-on work experience in a daytime park setting. Participants will work hand in hand with the
Summer Park staff to ensure that the parks children have a fun, safe, and enjoyable experience. Teen-Workz Members will assist Park & Rec.
Staff, while at the same time learning valuable leadership skills. TeenWorkz members will also be allowed to participate in all of the exciting
activities at the center at a reduced rate.
There may also be times throughout the summer that activities are offered only to participants of the TEENWORKZ program.
Program starts June 20 and runs through August 5.
The program will meet Monday at Pharo Park and Wednesday & Friday at HTCC from 9 am-12

Snowbird Membership is a full service fitness members valid for 6 months
for seniors 62+. Valid only May 1-Oct. 31.
Program Membership entitles the entire family to discounted program
rates. The majority of our programs are aimed at ages 3-12, in the hopes
to encourage more memberships, as the “non-member” program fee costs
more. Membership entitles one person in the family to one free program,
excluding children’s services & cheerleading. Program membership does not
entitle you to the member rate on pool passes or the summer park program.
Basketball Membership for an adult would give access only to the use of
the basketball gym. This membership would not give the discounted fee for
aerobics or fitness room as the Basic Membership does, encouraging more
members who are interested in only the use of the basketball gym.
Gym Rental Information:
Gym rentals are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Requests for gym rentals for fall/
winter are taken after June 1st; spring/summer after January 1st. A $50 damage deposit is
required for all gym rentals.
