WALL OF FIRE
As you approach the stairs, a
wall of fire will shoot up and
block the way. First, enter the
bottom-left door and defeat the
Like Like to reveal a small treasure chest and unlock the door. If
the Like Like steals your shield
and Goron Tunic, you can get
them back once it's defeated.
You will see a Goron locked in a
cell, but you will have to find a
way to release him later. Climb up the railing of the stairs to get
around the wall of fire.

HELP DARUNIA
Darunia will be standing in front of the door to the Boss. He asks
you to help him by releasing the Gorons held prisoner throughout
the Fire Temple. The Prisoners are in the other direction, but you
will need a Small Key to get there. At Callout 3 there are two unlit
torches. The higher one is hidden inside a crate. Find a middle
ground between the two torches and use Din's Fire to light both of
them. Quickly get behind the higher torch and shoot an ar row
through the flame to light the third torch across the room. The
door behind the third torch will open, giving you access to a small
treasure chest with a Small Key.
ONE SHOT WITH DIN'S FIRE
You need to light the two torches mounted on the railing of the
stairs, as well as the two torches
in the mounts on the wall to
unlock the door to the top-left.
Position yourself in the middle
of the torches and use Din's Fire
to light them with one blast.
Enter the door to the left.

STALFOS BATTLE
Return to the first room and use
the Small Key on the bottomright door. You will battle two
Stalfos, but to unlock the next
door you also need to defeat the
Keese flying around the room.
You can now use your Fairy Bow
from a distance to fight the
Stalfos, but only when they are
not blocking.

IRON KNUCKLE
When you enter this room the floor tiles will start to fly around
and attack you. Use your shield to protect yourself and break them
up, then hit the Iron Knuckle sitting on the throne to bring him to
life. His axe swings are much more powerful than the previous
Stalfos. Dodge the swings with a backflip, then retaliate with a
jumping sword attack. The door to the next room will be unlocked
once he's defeated. Before you go, stock up on some of the many
Fairies inside the breakable pots in this room.

8
FLAME DANCER
The Flame Dancer can be very intimidating at first, but if
you use your Hookshot you can L-Target and pull the little
guy out of his flaming costume. Try to do it before he
starts circling the room and throwing fire. Once you pull
the Flame Dancer out with your Hookshot, he will try to
retreat. Attack with your sword, then circle around and cut
him off with another attack. Keep doing this until he jumps back
into the flames, then get ready to use your Hookshot again. Once
the Flame Dancer is defeated, the doors will unlock and a large
treasure chest with the Megaton Hammer will be revealed. In the
adjacent room, use the Megaton Hammer to hit the Switch on the
floor. This will release the Goron you saw earlier and give you
access to the large treasure chest with the Map.
9
SWING THE HAMMER
Return to the first room. At
Callout 7, use your Megaton
Hammer to remove the statue
blocking the door into sections.
A hit to the front of the statue
will do nothing, but if you get on
the side of the statue you should
have no problem removing the
sections. Go through the door.
FIRE TEMPLE
IMPRISONED GORON
On the opposite side of the
room you will see two doors.
Through the bottom door you
can release another Goron by
hitting the Switch with the
Megaton Hammer.

7
FREE ANOTHER GORON
You will enter a large room with many moving platforms and dangerous lava. Make your way to the right and climb onto the moving
platform at Callout 8. To get onto the ledge nearby you need to get
past the wall of fire. While facing the ledge, aim your Hookshot at
the unlit torch. It may take a few tries, but you can latch onto the
unlit torch and pull yourself through the wall of flames. Use Din's
Fire to light the torch and reveal Hookshot points throughout the
room. Bomb the wall to uncover a door leading to an imprisoned
Goron. Use Din's Fire again to light the torch on the right side and
unlock the door. After the Goron is free, collect the Small Key
inside the small treasure chest.
ELEVATOR PLATFORM
Most of the platforms in this
room will collapse when you
stand on them, but the platform
near Callout 10 will rise instead.
Ride it up and jump to the alcove
with the unlit torch. Use Din's
Fire to light the torch, then send
an arrow through the flames to
light the torch near the door
leading to the last Goron you
saved. The door above will be
unlocked. Use your Hookshot to get to this door.
11
GET THE BOSS KEY
In the next room, deflect
the floor tiles with your
shield. When they are all
cleared out, use your Hookshot
on the torch on the other side of
the wall of flames to pull yourself through. Collect the Boss
key then use your Hookshot on
the torch in the middle of the
room to get out.

READY FOR LAUNCH
Use the Small Key you collected earlier on the door near Callout 12.
In the next room, climb the inside of the metal fence all the way to
the top so you are standing on its top edge. Aim your Hookshot at
the torch below to reach the platform. There is a platform that is
being shot up to the 2nd Floor. Time your jump so that you land on
the platform right when the propelling fire that sends the platform
up dies down or the fire will burn you and send you back to the
bottom of the room. Ride the platform up to the 2nd Floor.
15
Pull yourself above the walls of
the maze with the Hookshot,
then jump on top of the walls to
reach Callout 15. There is a
Crystal Switch behind a closed
gate. Use the explosion of a
Bomb to activate the Switch by
timing your throw so it explodes
close to the Crystal Switch. The
gate will open, allowing you
access to the small crates and
small treasure chest inside. There is another hidden Crystal Switch
on the ground to the left of the first one. This time, use a spin
attack to activate the Switch hidden inside one of the crates.
Inside is a small treasure chest.
16
13
TO THE 3RD FLOOR
Light the torch with Din's Fire. It will reveal a Hookshot point
across the way. Use your Hookshot to get across and climb on top
of the Hookshot point. This leads to a clearing where a Lizalfos will
attack you. Eliminate the Lizalfos, then either climb the metal
fence or use the Hookshot to reach the door above. You will now
be on the 3rd Floor. Outside the door you will enter a big maze.
Watch out for Lizalfos that fall to attack you in the maze.
CHECK THE WALLS
A Goron that you saved earlier mentioned that some walls can be
checked with your sword to see if they can be blown up with
Bombs. Listen to the sound the wall makes at Callout 14 when you
strike with your sword. Another good indicator is if you can hear
Skulltulas behind a wall. Blow up the wall at Callout 14, then hit the
rusted Switch with the Megaton Hammer to raise Hookshot
points. This will allow you to get above the maze.
FIRE TEMPLE
A WEAK SPOT
Use your Hookshot again to get
above the maze. There is a suspicious wall at Callout 16. A Bomb
will blow open a hole revealing a
passage to the 2nd Floor. Climb
down the metal grating to the
2nd Floor.
17
14
ABOVE THE MAZE
COLLECT THE COMPASS
You will end up in the
same room that you
were in for Callout 13, but
this time you'll be in a previously
inaccessible part of the 2nd
Floor. Roll into the crates to
destroy them. One has a rusty
Switch underneath it. Use the
Megaton Hammer to activate
the Switch, opening the gate to
the large treasure chest. Inside
you'll find the Compass.
18
ANOTHER SUSPICIOUS WALL
Climb back up to the 3rd Floor and bomb the wall at Callout 18 to
reveal a hidden blue Switch next to a locked door. Return to the
spot where you bombed the Crystal Switch. Pick up one of the
small crates and carry it back to the blue Switch. Place the crate
on the blue Switch to keep the door unlocked, allowing you to
enter. Inside there is another Goron being held captive. Hit the
Switch to release the Goron and collect the Small Key from the
small treasure chest in the cell.

MORE TORCHES TO LIGHT
20
Make your way back above the maze. Near the last wall you
bombed you will see a locked door. Use the Small Key you just
found and enter the next room. To get to the spot at Callout 19, use
your Hookshot on the large crate to pull yourself up. Don't destroy
the crate, though, because you can use it again. Pick up one of the
smaller crates, then drop down and place it on the blue Switch.
This will light the two torches nearby. Use your Hookshot on the
same crate as before to get out. This bypasses taking the long
way around to get back. There are two torches high up on the wall
above the blue Switch, but one isn't lit. Shoot an arrow through the
torches you lit and start the last torch burning to unlock the door
to the next room.
BOSS
RIDING THE FIERY SPIKE
Through the hallway you will come to another large room. The
majority of this room deals with reaching the 4th and 5th Floors,
where Gold Skulltulas are hidden. To finish the dungeon, all you
have to do is use the Megaton Hammer on the block near Callout
20. You will ride a giant spike down to the 1st Floor and land right in
front of the door to the Boss. Use your Boss Key to enter the
room.
VOLVAGIA
Watch the fiery holes in the ground for Volvagia to appear. As soon as the monster shows its head, run
over to the hole and swing the Megaton Hammer to stun it, then attack with your sword. The next time
Volvagia shows up, it will fly out of the hole and attack you with its fire breath. After it flies back into the
ground, get ready to attack with the Megaton Hammer again. Whenever Volvagia flies out of a hole, it will
alternate between breathing fire and dropping boulders. Only attack Volvagia when its head pops out.
