there are certain places where assistance is not available (e.g. railway
stations and cruise terminals). Airlines may impose stricter weight and

Please restrict smoking to the ample stops en route. To enable everyone
the opportunity of enjoying window and front seats, guests change
seats daily during the course of the tour.
What to Bring
We recommend casual, lightweight, drip-dry clothing with some
warmer articles for the evenings and cooler days. For the winter
months, a warm jacket is recommended. Pack shorts, pullover, rubbersoled walking shoes, swimsuit, towel, sleeping clothes and waterproof
jacket. Do not forget a hat, camera, sunglasses, insect repellent,
sunscreen, toiletries and a bottle for drinking water. Note that regular
laundry facilities may not always be available. Dress is usually casual,
so bring comfortable clothing. In Central Australia, Southern Australia
and New Zealand nights in winter (May to August) can be cold, frosts
and snow do occur and occasionally cold winds blow, so bring warm
clothing to suit. Days are usually sunny and mild. In Northern Australia
warmer conditions apply, so come prepared.
Wi-Fi
Complimentary WiFi service is available in many hotel guest rooms
and/or the public areas of most hotels. Complimentary WiFi is also
provided on-board most of our touring coaches. WiFi on coaches uses
a mobile/cellular network and as a result the connection will be slower
than regular broadband and at times may not be available in some
areas. Please note that WiFi may not be available on transfer coaches
and other local services.

AAT Kings encourages the sustainable development of tourism in partnership with the
Treadright Foundation – a not-for-profit organisation established by The Travel Corporation
and its family of brands. To date, the foundation has helped support more than 35 sustainable
tourism projects worldwide. Within Australia and New Zealand AAT Kings is also proud to
support a number of important projects with a particular focus on wildlife conservation.
Koalas
AAT Kings has teamed up with Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors to
support the Koala Rehabilitation Project at their Wildlife Hospital
– the country’s largest and busiest wildlife facility. We support
the treatment and rehabilitation of koalas at the centre, as well
as the building of eco-friendly habitats to protect the sick and
orphaned. We now even have an AAT Kings Mascot “Koala Sam”.
Tassie Devils
AAT Kings supports the conservation of
the endangered Tasmanian Devil through
sponsorship of the Tasmanian Devil breeding
program at Tasmania Zoo. We’ve adopted
three little Tasmanian Devils already and are proud to support
the zoo in their efforts to combat the fatal Devil Facial Tumour
Disease that is affecting Tasmanian Devils across the state.
Kiwi birds
AAT Kings supports the conservation of New Zealand’s iconic native bird,
the endangered kiwi. We contribute to the Rainbow Springs Kiwi Breeding
Program in Rotorua to hatch and raise kiwi chicks, perform health checks
and daily monitoring, as well as fund research into kiwi incubation and
rearing. We aim to help Rainbow Springs raise awareness of the protection
of these precious birds and continue to play a vital role in their survival.
Our eco-friendly coaches
Taking a coach is an environmentally sustainable means of transportation.
Coaches use significantly less fuel per passenger than an average sized
car or hybrid. One coach can displace up to 56 cars from the road.

Little Peng uins
AAT Kings has supported the world’s
