The GRD Minproc Way
GRD Minproc has as its vision a goal of developing an outstanding global
reputation in delivering innovative resource processing solutions.
This vision is being achieved through an equal focus on two primary areas:
- Technical expertise that provides the cornerstone for the development of
innovative solutions for our clients; and
- The delivery of these solutions to meet the time, quality, cost and performance
expectations of our clients.
We are engineering contractors committed to meeting the full requirements of our clients, from
feasibility studies through to project delivery and into commissioning and operational support.
Our strategy is therefore underpinned by the continuous enhancement of our technical
capability and in our project delivery methodology. Delivering value to our clients can only
occur through this dual focus.
Our People, Our Greatest Asset
Our focus on technical innovation and project delivery excellence makes our people, their retention and
training, critical to our ability to deliver successful outcomes for our clients. With extensive experience in nickel,
uranium, copper, gold and resource recovery from waste, GRD Minproc is building a reputation for delivering
smart, high value outcomes.
We have more than 1100 dedicated professionals worldwide. At the heart of our company is a set of shared
values that provide the foundation on which GRD Minproc operates. These values are for our individual
employees and business groups alike; they are at the core of how we interact with each other and our
stakeholders.
They include safety in design, safety in delivery; integrity; teamwork and respect.
These values have no geographical boundaries – they are who we are, no matter where we are.

‘Engineering a safer workplace’
SAFETY IS A CORE VALUE FOR GRD MINPROC
The health and safety of our employees, clients and
contractors remains our first priority. We believe that a
safe environment is not just a place where injuries and
accidents do not occur, but also where the risk of an
injury or accident has been managed out.
We are committed to seeking continuous improvement
in our health, safety and environmental performance
through the adoption of best practices and adherence
to management systems.
Our focus on safety can be seen with the
Ravensthorpe Nickel Project having been ranked
number one for safety performance amongst all of
BHP Billiton’s Australian assets.
Quality People, Quality Systems
To effectively carry out business across the globe, GRD Minproc has developed a set of control systems to

Electronic collaboration within teams
For clients, alto provides information in a format that is easily understood and easily interpreted. The integrity
of the information gives clients the confidence that GRD Minproc is efficiently and effectively managing their
project from a time, cost and quality perspective.

Award Winning
In 2007 GRD Minproc was presented with the prestigious
C.Y. O’Connor Award for Excellence in Engineering at the
Western Australian Industry and Export Awards. The company
was acknowledged for its engineering innovation in using the
skills of its engineers and designers to push beyond the frontiers
of mineral processing and apply their expertise to recovering
resources from waste using the UR-3R Process®.
GRD Minproc is currently constructing two UR-3RTM Facilities in
the United Kingdom for its sister company Global Renewables,
which will process the household waste of more than 1.4 million
people. The Lancashire Waste Partnership Private Finance
Initiative (PFI) Project reinforces GRD Minproc’s move into
waste management; a decision made during the late 1990’s to
counter the impact of the cyclical troughs experienced in the
resources sector.
