times a year. If you’re between the ages of 7 and 17 and love to sing—we encourage you

Manaus Opera House in Brazil, the Hanoi Opera
House in Vietnam, and the Petronas
Philharmonik in Malaysia, as well as venues
throughout Alaska, Canada, South Africa, Japan,
Thailand, Cambodia and Australia.

The mission of Commonwealth Youthchoirs, Inc. is to offer world-class choral music education and
performance opportunities to young people from diverse economic, racial and ethnic backgrounds,
while nurturing leadership skills, building character, and encouraging self-discipline.
PG and KSB membership has grown to over 250 young men and women between the ages of 7 and
17, and represents five counties in southeastern Pennsylvania. The choirs have performed hundreds
of concerts, enchanting audiences with their joyful music-making and polished sound. They continue
to serve as musical ambassadors for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, both at home and
internationally.
Commonwealth Youthchoirs, Inc. is the 501(c)(3) umbrella organization that administers Keystone State Boychoir
and Pennsylvania Girlchoir.

including music from many cultures and time
periods.

The Philadelphia Inquirer lauded PG as “a happy
addition to the musical resources of the
region.” PG’s stellar performance in Mendelssohn’s oratorio Elijah with Mendelssohn Club of
Philadelphia led its Music Director Alan Harler to
declare Pennsylvania Girlchoir “the finest
girlchoir I’ve ever worked with.”
