About Ornamental Things
Ornamental Things is an independent artist-driven jewelry company, based in Austin, Texas, with a
mission to provide jewelry that is high quality, well designed and beautifully inspired. Natalie Tischler is
the designer behind the brand. The materials she uses are collected from wholesale suppliers and
vintage stock warehouses. The majority of our supplies and processes are sourced within the USA and
our jewelry is assembled in our studio in Austin. We employ a dedicated staff of people who make,
package and ship our jewelry with attention to quality and detail. We are always happy to do repairs and
answer questions. Our customers include Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, Modcloth and Free People, as
well as hundreds of retailers around the world. Our company was established in April 2004.

Our suggested retail markup is 2.2
Our jewelry comes with a paper string tag that contains information about materials and length, but not
price
The metals found in our Collection line are aged brass, plated brass, gold filled and oxidized sterling silver
The metals found in our Indie Girl line are aged brass, plated brass and base metal
Brass jewelry can be polished with a jewelry polishing cloth and does not contain nickel
Customizations to styles such as adding extender chains or changing length will cost $1 per item
Terms and Conditions
Suggested first order is $200, $100 re-orders
Minimum per style is 1 piece unless otherwise noted
We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express, check, Paypal, money order or Net30 with
credit sheet
Past due balances will be assessed a 1.5% finance charge per month
Accounts over 90 days will be sent to collection with all resulting fees being charged to customer
Returned checks will be assessed a $35 service charge
Packages are shipped through FedEx or best method (per buyer’s request), buyer pays shipping
All claims must be made, in writing, within 7 days of receipt of goods
All cancellations must be in writing via fax or email, 15 days prior to ship date
Prices subject to change without notice
Texas stores must submit a resale certificate
Shipping outside of the U.S. is determined per order, shipped through UPS or USPS, buyer pays
shipping, duties and taxes
